Why GearHead's karma has been stripped
I don't usually call people out like this, but this case is kind of special.
The guy has been impersonating a professional athlete. Gearhead submitted photos of a person that clearly isn't him, no matter how much he wants you to believe that.
Consider this as a PSA announcement of sorts.
Do not always believe what someone tells you, as more often than not it is too good to be true. No one knows if he is in shape or not, has the real world experience he claims to have, and most likely is a regular guy with a few friends who walk the walk, that he knows he can replicate on an anonymous forum like ours.
His stories aren't adding up and are contradicting each other with the more he says, to the point where he is scrambling to get someone to listen to his rants. So we did a lot of digging and found out a lot that doesn't add up. Enough where we are sure enough to come to the community and warn you all and inform you about our findings. Instead of banning him we let you the members make the call.
In closing be careful who you believe sometimes and to the members who are in a similar boat or tell all the crazy stories, know that we are watching and members pick up on things also and let us know. Eventually you will be caught, we do our job to the best of our abilities.

Well that's all folks. A few members have told me he has been making some pretty serious threats. An he wanted to cry to everyone in pm and email to the point where a few let me know ,of course instead of coming in here like a man. He had 36 hours to man the fuck up. That's what happens when you share pics of a pro and they get recognized, an when those pics are saved and compared to the pics on the internet and they match well there ya go. That is only a fraction of the evidence (a small one). Anyways act like a child and a scumbag get treated like such. Thank you to the few members that came forwards I appreciate it.
And again guys. It would have been simple for him to provide another pic to one of us or BFG with his face cropped off and proof of date and eroids handle without any identity revealing documentation, but he wouldn't even do that. But the fact is due to Tony's investigation we knew exactly who he really is anyway. That said, just like any of the hundreds of investigations we have done before we are not rats and will keep that info private.

I approached him a week ago and presented all my evidence. Didn't shit on him. Asked him to clarify things or be honest and we would figure it out without getting stupid. Well he picked the other road.

Who knows why he wouldn't come in here and defend himself. Maybe he knew I'd start throwing some serious mud and members would see just how much evidence there was....I dont know.
For the longest I held the guy to a pretty high standard, but after 3 years and loads of inconsistencies I started to put the pieces together and dug for more and more evidence. An then he handed it to me.
Well thank you mate. I appreciate you, the other mods and BFG looking out for the community. There is a massive safety issue here which must come first. I had some good and seamingly solid interactions in the open forums with him but nothing seemed untoward from that respect. He did tell me once on PM that he was a pro and asked me not to say anything so I didn't. Not that I care much that he was or wasn't but I agree don't go and lie about it. What's the point. Especially after claiming to be such a God fearing and righteous person. What a distraction. Thanks again!
They always do, cover a lie with another lie and then lie to cover that one you lose track. Almost like the 20 year olds that try and say they are older and the people over 20% bf claiming much less.

I like that he hasn't been banned. Reminds me of PapaSwole. Sometimes banning folks means they just come back as a new persona. Id have more respect for him if he takes his whooping and ridicule like a man and sticks to his original handle. A lot can be said about how a man handles adversity caused by their own doing. Some crumble and others own up to it.
Truthfully though there's no reason to lie about who we are other than from a legal perspective. Aside from that why lie about experience or body fat. Who cares? "earning karma back" for him will be a tough one for me. I watched members drool over his parroted posts and basically worship the ground he walked on. For me his reputation is toasted and gone. I called him out many times on some of his posts only to be ridiculed by other members who took his word as the end all.
This is the internet and people can pretend to be someone they aren;t all day long and get away with it....up until the slip happens and it always does. Banning him is not a good idea but you can bet every post he makes going forward will be put under that microscope and then sliced away.
I actually feel better now because all the times I questioned him I was right to do so. He is a true salesman and if he is in that field for work I guarantee you he is making good money because he fooled a lot of people here except the few that pay attention. I'm glad you guys exposed him and I look forward to seeing what he says to try and cover his ass that he hasn't already done in private messages to the easily manipulated. just don't get mad if I crucify the shit out of him when and if he pops his head in again.

Do you get construction advice from a guy who cant prove his track record? But, a lot of what he says you've heard before? Negative.

He was given multiple opportunities one on one with a boat load of evidence against him , a boat load.....So that's why I say what I say. I wanted him more than anyone to prove me wrong, it was upsetting.
