Why GearHead's karma has been stripped
I don't usually call people out like this, but this case is kind of special.
The guy has been impersonating a professional athlete. Gearhead submitted photos of a person that clearly isn't him, no matter how much he wants you to believe that.
Consider this as a PSA announcement of sorts.
Do not always believe what someone tells you, as more often than not it is too good to be true. No one knows if he is in shape or not, has the real world experience he claims to have, and most likely is a regular guy with a few friends who walk the walk, that he knows he can replicate on an anonymous forum like ours.
His stories aren't adding up and are contradicting each other with the more he says, to the point where he is scrambling to get someone to listen to his rants. So we did a lot of digging and found out a lot that doesn't add up. Enough where we are sure enough to come to the community and warn you all and inform you about our findings. Instead of banning him we let you the members make the call.
In closing be careful who you believe sometimes and to the members who are in a similar boat or tell all the crazy stories, know that we are watching and members pick up on things also and let us know. Eventually you will be caught, we do our job to the best of our abilities.

AnonDamn right
Thanks BFG for watching out for the community!! And damn you just never know! everyone is a movie star on the internet!!
Maybe GearHead will post here. Would like to hear his response
Richard.SimmonsThis will be my 2nd go around. I've been always told there's always something good in everyone. Banning him I'll disagree on. As far as the tags go this is a ruff one if you ask me. I had to "show my face" with the date and post to get my "Pro Tag". There's no doubt that our Mods do there jobs and hope they fully get invold with making the right choices which I've seen in the past they are and will. Members need to know our Mods a very fair when it come to issues yes they are a pain in our asses something but that's what they are here for to keep us in check. I'm voting No for the ban, he can get invold and still pass on some knowledge??? As far as Karma he can earn it back. Not by posting pictures every other week like a lot of members do. Yes we post our gear picture but where's all the selfies??????? I think my pictures are 50/50 now and that's only fair to our members. Just because I have this tag don't mean I should post up gear pictures every other day..... I may be a bigger guy but I also have to prove why I carry this tag. Just my .02
I agree with you on not banning as well. And who knows maybe you will still get your tag back.
Anonit will depend on how he acts .. and yea we would go at anyone the same way with this type stuff
RustyhookerOh damn....
