THIS IS VERY GRAPHIC IN NATURE SO PLEASE DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DON'T LIKE INJURY VIDEO'S.
This serves as an extreme warning of attempting weights you shouldn't be even thinking about:

Sounds like the whole surgery experience was Bloody Awful!!!
Damn Press ! Ouch that’s why I’m a truly a believer in no need to go super heavy. Reps over weight is my thing.
I’ve tried to do slow descents like that to minimize momentum and make a “safer” lift.
Talking to some kinesiology nerd coworkers they’re telling me that slow negatives emphasize the weakest point for the muscle (the eccentric) and increase my risk of tearing. Fuck me it seems I can’t win.
So I’m just supposed to let that bitch drop before pressing? According to the nerds yes. Keep in mind none of these guys have a physique worth half a damn...
AnonConnective tissue is connective tissue is connective tissue.
Everybody has a 'maximum' your tendons and ligaments will take. No amount if training makes them stronger.
I had three months off before light lifting. I'm not jacked, it's not my livelihood and i nearly went insane. (R elbow, ending month 4 of 6 month process.)
Send all your well wishes for his sanity. He's a worldbeater. He'll get the physical back one way or another.
AnonLigaments...my bad.
You can build up around them, but they are what they are.
AnonI gotta correct you there brother.
There are some tendon strengthening exercises. I know a bunch with resistance bands, and I do them regularly. I've been to snap city a few times so I know some things about recovering. I've had MRIs, cortisone injections guided in with ultrasound, orthopedic surgeries, and physical therapy. If you ever wanna talk about healing injuries I do know some things and will share what I have learned from experience over the years.
To add to your post, tendons can be trained yes. But the blood flow through them is minimal compared to muscles. With any kind of connective tissue injury, blood needs to be forced into area and extra time is needed.
Just my added 2 cents.
AnonYou and press1 are correct. Tendons take longer to heal.
Agreed Bud - Of course tendons get stronger along with muscle. Tendons unfortunately take a lot longer though in some cases and are more brittle in nature so are more prone to snapping. If tendons didn't get stronger then we would forever all be stuck on just the barbell Lol I tend to find 3 days for muscle healing and 4 for the tendon to then train it again. However if they are very sore it can be a week plus.
Hey u ever used one of those spikey recovery balls on the shoulder? I've been using one daily & they really do speed up the recovery of sore muscle without a doubt. On the front and side delt they are awesome
I think we talked or u introduced me about this a cpl of years ago. I still incorporate a ball on wall to get pecks, delts, and lower shoulder after hard training days. It's not often, but when u need it, it's a gamechanger.. lol
AnonI haven't tried the spiky ball. But my chiropractor puts the sticky TENS units on to reduce muscle guarding, usually this is just for my back only. Seems to be an issue about once or twice a year. Best part is I can take re-injury it and not be fazed at all until the next day then I'm rolling out of bed and walking bent over with my hands on my knees to get muscle relaxers and pain pills. And my physical therapist puts my hands in a box of ground up corn cobs that blows around with heated air before working my extensor tendons. I haven't needed Tenolysis yet, which is surgery to remove scar tissue from tendons so they can glide freely but I do have some visible rubberized stitches holding extensor tendons together that can be seen under the skin.
I'm just overdue for a cycle of HGH really. I got more in me. I'm not done yet. I will die doing what I love.
Edit: I'm laid up after a rough time and not all there man.
Here, have a feel of my Balls .....
It's a covid therapy ball!
Anon.
AnonI have some balls like that. They are for putting in the dryer to help dry clothes. I will try one out and see. Thanks for the image cause I really have 4 spiky rubber balls that look a lot like that for putting in the dryer with clothes.
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.PermalinkThats a picture of the actual one I have from Myprotein,, £6 it was. Rock Solid to push against and when it goes across the nipple damn it hurts, so I avoid that area Lol
AnonThe ones I have for the dryer are hollow and can be easily squeezed. Balls on the nipple talk requires a No Homo bro lol
Damn u sound like me... Been beat around the block and back! Lol.. I know u and me have talked about peptides for ligament repair, but have u gotten into collagen?
I take Collagen Hydro powder and its really good for my damaged rotator cuff, you just have to make sure you take a scoop daily to get the results. It definitely reflects in my workouts when I have stayed on top of it, stick it in with the BCAA's to mask the numb taste of it LOL Good old Cow bones and skin ....
I seen alot of people talking about this and majority of the results have been positive.. Im gonna try it..
AnonNo. But autologous stem cell therapy is on the table. Autologous stem cells are harvested from a patient's body and have the natural ability to help a damaged area heal. It's much more expensive than HGH or anything else I've done. But I'm looking into it for some injuries. Not as expensive as some self paid surgeries I've had but still it's up there in price. Around 10k
Yeah I looked into the stem cell shots. They were like $5000 per shot if I remember correctly and they said I wld need 2-3 shots....
AnonSearch "autologous stem cell therapy knees" for some info. A lot of athletes are doing it now to help with damaged or lost cartilage.
Gave me the Willie's watching that. To feel that would be hell. Or hell might feel better.
AnonThis is hard to watch. That had to hurt like hell. That ripping sound is gonna haunt me man.
That is a stupid amount of weight on Incline .
Absolutely no point in lifting that much weight on incline it's way way to much pressure on your shoulders , there in no benefit to lifting that heavy none at all .
Now the dude is fucked for the rest of his life , even if he gets the best surgery money can buy , that is a total tare .
I feel for him , I've injured myself 3 times in the gym . I've injured my lower back twice and both times it was my own dumb ass fault for going heavy on Dead Lifts .
RULE No.1
Never assume you can lift for 1 rep what Larry has just done for 8 LMAO
JESUS CHRIST!!!! I WOULD HAVE DIED!!
Fuck I met him at the O this past year, dude is a fucking animal. Also his insurance won’t cover it and there is a go fund me to help

Holy fuck.
It is a true reminder that the safety of our bodies must come first. It’s cool to hit PR’s but to never jump up to much in weight at one time even if your really feeling the anadrol and tren. I’m just grateful I have never had a serious injury like this.
Molinin302God damn! Heard it rip!
Have you seen how high his pec instantly rises up as it comes off the bone!! Real cringeworthy stuff
That was crazy!!
He won't be able to do anything for at least a year with the amount of healing and pins that will require - It will be absolute torture for him mentally.
Its very very frustrating getting back into it also as you are playing with baby weights again that you use to warm up with, all the muscle is basically fresh again and needs to go through all the sets and reps again also in a weaker state as the muscle is now all disfigured. I mean mine was nothing compared to this, this is pure and utter muscle malfunction.
Damn
Prolly should stick to dumbbells
or mabye dont try and incline bench 485
