As part of my morning routine, I'll usually track the markets just to keep abreast on financial data!
I read an interesting article this morning concerning Bitcoin:
Today marks the cyber currency's seven year anniversary! It is called Bitcoin pizza Monday, the day when the first person used the currency to order two Papa Johns pizzas!
If someone invested $100 in the currency when it first became public, it would be worth about $75,000,000 today! That's right seventy-five million!
It hit a high today of over 2,200. If anyone has these in their wallet, now might be a good time to cash in or at least keep abreast of market moves! If anyone forgot that had them stashed away, whoa baby! :))

It isn't too late. Look at Ripple (XRP) Ethereum is also on a tear.
I have a pretty good cache of bit coin but I am not selling it. It has been on a meteoric rise lately but that is because it is the gold standard of crypto currency and it is going mainstream.
Yup, I saw that too and bought a few buck worth of ether when it was $14. Which was not long ago. Get in now its worth a shot. If we had bought 100 worth of bitcoin when it was 14 whoa boy!!
Ripple isn't as volatile but has a potential to be be accepted by Banks as the goto for international movement of money, and is designed to complement BTC not replace it. At it's current price ($0.30) it's worth a buck or two now. if it goes nowhere you're out $100. If it grows like BTC that $100 could be $228,200 within a decade at BTC current price.

I know you are pretty good with trading what is your prediction of where the bubble will burst. Do you think it will surpass $3000.00?
this current runup has broken the pattern of the last 2 or 3 runups...
I'm still hoping for a 4 to 6 hundred dollar price correction well before $3000 so I can buy back in with some that I sold off on it's run to $2000. Will it pass $3000? Someday you're likely to look at $3000 BTC like you look at gas prices in the 1960's
That said, if you wait for that "perfect" buy moment, you'll lose in the long run. If you invest for the long haul, whatever you pay now will more than likely appear cheap a year from now.

Very much agreed brother Greg! There's been a few times where I've patiently waited to buy company stock on dips or corrections only to see the price soar higher!
As you stated their is no perfect buy moment if you're in it for the long haul!
I'll definitely look into that company brother Sauron and possibly even Bitcoin! I'm old school, as you know and I've always invested in good blue chip companies that have respectable dividend yields!
A great way to safeguard your investment and recieve a steady cash flow but by no means a way to become wealthy! I still regret not investing in Amazon years ago!
I was reading through this thread thinking " I wish I not only invested more in bitcoin, but Amazon as well" ...looks like you are a few steps ahead of me!
You know brother Ron, to keep ones sanity when investing, is to come to the realization that their will always be missed opportunities! But their are always promising opportunities as well!
Do I wish I had bought into Amazon instead of blue chip companies like Pfizer and GE that have languished for years on end! Hell yea!!!
