Torn pec

ad

Well a few days ago i was benching and i did three sets. started at 225 did about 16 reps, jumped to 275, nailed it for 12/13 clean reps then loaded on 315. i did one rep went up and on my way down it sounded like a belt snapping or a stack of papers being ripped but loud!

i dropped the weight on my chest and two ppl came to pick it off me. a guy i know/ say hi to hear and there at the gym runs over and says "dude i heard a huge snape what happened.?" i went to feel my pec and one arm was already num with my pec and arm spazing out. when i felt it there was a chunk missing and the pain was unbearable. i then went to the hosspital where they told me we need to do an MRI but you need to talk to your genral doc for the MRI papers. like they couldnt just do it with my insurance WTF.

i had to burn on sunday night simply to be able to sorta sleep. once i went to the doctor he was shocked by the tear and says i most likely need to have it reattached due to the type of tear. YAY! so now only a few days from the EBC i have to get surgery. still will be posting pics.

but damn.. F@ck the timing!

There's a guy at my gym who tore his pec and As a result of the tear his pec was amputated. Everyone calls him "pecky" lol. Anyways I'm glad they can reattach your pec, your lucky bro. Hope you recover well.

Oh and throw some GH into the mix.

Injuries can happen even with light weights.

Most importantly wish you a speedy recovery.
