The dark side of the ring (WWF/WCW)
ad
Any wrestling old wrestling fans in the house?
I used to love the wwf wrestling when I was youngster
It basically goes into the dark side of the wrestling like the drugs and steroids and fueds that went on. Shows some amazing classic footage and behind the scenes at what really happened.
Worth a watch I'm watching on my showbox app.

Ace VenturaThat looks good. I have no idea who that guy was talking, but the song at the end was great
AnonI like the movie "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke, I think it's insightful to how a lot of those guys live/lived.
Wrestling is a tough business. I have tons of respect for these people.
jayiskpeople dont realize how difficult their job is. they have to drive themselves all over the country to do matches everyday sometimes.
the human body is not meant for a 280 lbs dude jumping off a top ring and landing on you. and they body slamming you. And this is nonstop until the match is over. Football they run a play and get breaks and are not taking a relentless beating.
so they use booze, coke, and pain killers just to get by. you cant turn down matches.
they also have to get in their training, gear, and food.
tough job and they get treated like shit from the owner.
not sure which wrestler did this but along time a go some cocky news reporter tried telling the wrestler that its fake.
he said you want to see fake and picked the reporter up and body slammed him through a table. fawked the reporters back. its def. not fake..., its entertainment not a sport.
It was Dave Shultz who beat the shit out of John Stossel.
Old school wrestling was different then. It wasn’t “Sports Entertainment” like it is now.
The wrestlers protected the sport back then. You would never see rival wrestlers having a beer together after the match. I think the sports entertainment is a much better show, but even that has changed in the last few years. Most guys in the sport now stick to the script and walk on eggshells. Very few step out of line and break script and step over to greatness...out of fear that If you break the script and suck...well good luck with the career. I’ve heard that locker rooms are quiet, no pranks, no messing with each other and that it’s It’s a whole different beast now. You run a set and it sucks and the crowd is bored, it’s on Vince. You Break script and it sucks it’s on you. You break script and It is awesome, and the crowd goes apeshit! It’s still on Vince. Lol.
jayiskwatched "Dark Side of the Ring"..,The Killing of Bruiser Brody”
after watching Bruiser and Abudllah the Butcher I couldn't believe that shit. that was prison fighting. guess i was too young to remember when wrestling was like that. Or forgot about it when it changed.
The expert has spoken
I only claim “expert” level in the field of no homo.
Ace VenturaThese days, the best place to find real pro wrestling is Juggalo Championshit Wrestling, or JCW:
