Single vs Married!!

ad

Hey guy's,
Just wondering who is single or married?

Now to give you a run down I've just been divorced after about a year of separation. The wife had me under the thumb big time, so to speak. I was NEVER allowed to interact with other women, even talking to them was BIG NO NO etc.

Now that is all all over and I'm on the gear. I've never experienced so many hot young chicks throwing themselves at me. (not being an ego tripper, if you know me, I'm very far from it) BUT, it's unbelievable. I'm not a young bloke anymore (check out my profile) but I dunno guy's. Once you get the "Body" and look fit and have supreme confidence which on the gear you do have. :-)

It raises the game. Do you guy's know what I mean?
LOVE to hear your feedback Bro's!

Did a couple of log term relationships, finally realising living with someone just makes me really unhappy. I'm not bother about f#cking loads of different girls, or playing the field. I just love my own space, the thing i would dread most was coming home knackered and grumpy knowing i'd open that door and have to have a f#cking conversation with someone, awful.

Reakon if I had another long term gril I do it the same as a lot of my european mates, where they both live in seperate houses. It just works so much better for people like me. To many people try to wear the marrage hat when it's really not for them, and just end up divorced.

Right there with ya bro. Had the same sort of problem, the wifey was unbelievably insecure and had some daddy issues or something from when growing up. Seriously, I don't know the psychology here on fathers and daughters, but I know it has to do with something cause my dad is an asshole and it affected my sis. Anyway, I'm divorced too and yet some of it was my fault too....I lost myself for several years and a real demon came out and it's not something I'm very proud of...but that's all in the past as I have overcome that garbage once again!! As far as the marriage thing, I don't think it is necessary anymore. It's kind of an old school tradition that has been time-tested proven ineffective anymore at over 53% marriages ending in divorce....which isn't good for either spouse and especially the kids. To all those that are happily married...that is awesome and I do wish you all the best, I just wasn't so fortunate in my endeavors as both my ex and I were too immature at the time and we both paid the price. We're cool now though....we finally agreed to break off the rear-view mirrors in our lives (I remember Tread saying something like that, and it really hit home! Thanx Tread!)

I cant see the merits of getting married at this day and age. I don't want any kids so I'd rather keep girlfriends than marry and commit myself financially.

I'm sorry to hear that your wife was like that, that's no way to live. I would never do that to my man, I give trust 100%, and he gives me the same respect back. I never understood that kind of jealousy or behavior. Well, if you are experiencing beautiful women giving you attention right now, maybe you deserve that. Enjoy your attention, just always be kind and fair, don't hurt or take advantage ;-)

Thanks heaps KitKat!
You sound like a wonderful person :-)
No, I'm old school (look at my profile) I still rush to open doors for women, listen to them with no judgements, even at the supermarket the other day a young girl was having trouble lifting one of those baskets (she had overfilled) I offered to help lift it for her. (not for anything else, it's just me)
Sometimes though KitKat, I do wonder? Am I too much of a nice guy? as the saying goes. Nice guy's finish last?
Should I have gone to the pub everynight? Come home and demanded dinner on the table with another beer? Then bashed her later?
I have seen it ALL with that rubbish from other guy's.
Why do girls contiune to go for those guy's?????

KitKat's picture

Don't ever change! ;-) Maybe sometimes nice guys finish last, but all good things come to those who wait! Yes there are girls who go for guys that cause drama in the relationship, but not all girls. The girl that is really worth having you would not be drawn to chaos, hardship and drama. I like to think I'm a good catch, I'm kinda hot (lol), smart, ambitious and kind. And my man is one of the most sweetest, giving and kind man I have ever known. He got treated like dirt from his ex-wife and she threw him out like he was trash so she could move in her boyfriend that impregnated her. And then I met him, and I tell you what, there is no way I am letting this one go. Girls do go for nice guys. And when the nice guy wins in the end, he wins forever. So please don't change or ever think being a nice guy is a bad thing. The world needs nice guys.

Thanks bro, it's been about 7 months, but still hard.
It's like what another dude said in this thread here.
She was very messed up because of her past and it only came to light in the last couple of years. (abused badly, foster homes etc.)
She felt it was best to deal with it herself rarther than subject me through it all.
Still hurts though! :-)

Hey Cleyon, I'm lucky we did not have children. As like you said I have heard it's much worse.
Thanks for your input buddy :-)

I used to sleep with a lot of different women, but since I've been married to Grrrl, my average has dropped a little.
We have 5 years together, and it's all been great except for the first 4 years, 11 months and 29 days.

wildaussie's picture

How sweet, tell me in 10 years my friend :-)
Now, not being mean or anything!

No bullshitting! <- Can I say that?

I would have to agree with you on that decision. There are women out there that support and encourage the bodybuilding lifestyle and make a solid part of the team in doing so. Hopefully these guys realize that and find their female partner that does so if the choose. I can tell you, its not all fun and games but I believe in my man and I stand beside him 100%
