Fuck man, just noticed some spots and I’m like 99.6% sure it’s shingles, it’s a flare up tho because I had it in the same spot like 8 months ago or someshit. I know there’s some shingles experts in here, is there anything I can do early on, like I just caught it. There was a little bump in my armpit last night and now it’s like 12 red dots around it ,exactly where I had it before and looks identical. But it just started, is there a way to stop it quick? And is a hot shower bad, cus it can like open the pores and spread the oils, right? I have like anti-fungal creams and I think anti-viral cream and maybe like bacatracin or something similar, Shout-out to the shingles crew..again!!

Go get meds right now so it only last a few weeks. You have to get anti viral meds within 36 hours for it to work good
You're barely in your 30's. You don't get shingles till you're in your 50's+ Did you already get chicken pox sometime between 1994-1998? Glad to see you went in to have it looked at.
I know your not supposed to get it young but I have bad luck I guess. I got shingles a year ago like diagnosed and everything and this looked identical and in the same spot but luckily it wasn’t a reinfection BUT what’s even crazier is my girlfriend got it at 17 years old and it was SUPER BAD. It scared her chin and back of her neck she was like screaming for days in pain. And yes I had chicken pox probably in those years

Nah that shit was gone by lunchtime, figured it would be a waste to go there at that point. But now I got a fever and chills and a headache and idk what that could be, so looks like I may be going to the walk In clinic anyways

Hey it’s starting to come back, I felt ok by like 2 o’clock this afternoon and I had taken Tylenol at like 6 am and noon and was feeling almost perfect by 2. Then at like 8pm I started getting sore everywhere again and super weak and exhausted and a little chills. Could the tylenol have been covering it up, but I still feel way better then I did this morning. Why would it come back you think?

So it’s kinda going away now, just really bad headache still and general feeling of like “sickness hangover” but my girl thinks it’s like sun poisoning from tanning yesterday, I am a little red and I am normally very fair skinned (freckly Irish kid) but nothing crazy like not in pain or anything, does that sound possible or no?
I can get that feeling from sunbathing if I haven't been in the sun in a long time, full on headache for a day over the top of my head and chills everywhere.

Lol that’s how it feels man and now the shingles is gone and I’ve got the flu or something. The last 6 months as been crazy for me, just issue after issue. I ended a cycle super early and dropped everything now I’m just running a little test and gh but mighy drop the gh now too and just try and eat really healthy and not worry about gaining any size right now
You’re going to want to take this with a grain of salt, but it’s worth a go. Get yourself some L-Lysine, it’s shown to be marginally effective in the treatment and prevention of cold sores which is the herpes simplex virus, which happens to be related to the virus that causes shingles. There’s conflicting results, but it’s worth a try. You’re going to have to take 1G or more for treatment, less for maintenance. Good luck with it bro, I understand that mess is painful.

Thanks bro, it hasn’t seemed to really progress at all, it’s still just like ten red dots and it’s been like another 18 hours, so maybe it’s not shingles? But it’s the EXACT place and the dots are like the red bump with the skin kinda peeled of or dry around it, If you know what I mean, that was just like the actual shingles. But I only touched it the one time when I was seeing what it was, and haven’t touched it since so maybe it just been able to spread? Idk but I’m getting the kids in the bus and the other one to day car and then I’ll be going to the walk in clinic

Its very uncommon to get shingles back to back so soon bud. As you prob know this comes along with alot of nerve pain. Could poss be something different but best get it checked to be safe.

Go get it treated ASAP. I didn't get mine treated and it became infected. Hurt like a MF'er ended up on oral antibiotics, a cream antibiotic and valtrex for the shingles. And still have a huge scar right above my right ass cheek.
Ya I have purple patches on my back that are like scars from it but that’s was only from a super mild case, they look like burst blood vessels almost or something
