I LOVE this basketball team, They are new, ass kicking, humble and many other things.

I haven't kept up with the cheer leaders but this popped up on yahoo and pissed me off.

here is the problem with your analysis as i see it. as i, and others have stated, we prefer a woman like her. so what is wrong with having a cheerleader with that kind of a body for the numerous guys like myself. honestly, the typical cheerleader bodies are boring, to ME. and yes i did actually look at that link you posted, and some are ok but most of them just have a kind of body that im not into as much as i am this girl's. so bfd if it doesn't live up to everyone's standards of what a cheerleader should look like. i enjoy the team and i enjoy watching and going to the games a little more because of her, so she has done her job.

" It has become acceptable to be "comfortable in ones own skin" no matter how much extra there is."

But you know my good friend it could also be that those of us me included that are obsessed with our outward appearance could just be insecure people while these others say this is who I am if you don't like it f*ck you. And honestly I respect that attitude. Because life is based all on perspective. And I agree with what you wrote about Cheerleaders, movie stars etc, but maybe it is a sign of our mental weakness that we are this way. i don't know it this is one of those topics that has no right or wrong depending on what side you look at it. But it would be like overweight people saying to us

"You people don't even have the work ethic to achieve your goals without steroids. You break the laws of the land for your own vanity and yet teach your children to respect and obey you despite your hypocrisy of not respecting authority. So yeah I am fat and you are a vain hypocrite I guess we all suck in our own ways.

Yes all of my daughters are athletes so they never struggled with weight issues. Of course like anyone they have their own personal insecurities about the way they look or their beauty but they had friends that were heavier and that were for sure the target of people's criticisms. You know for me I don't like to see someone alienated or put down based of outward appearance. I am a realist and understand the world we live in but in my household I don't have to be a slave to popular opinion. And if someone made my kids cry well I would feel obliged to reciprocate the favor. There is a beauty that lasts and one that fades and eventually we will all turn into sagging skin suits so hopefully there is more to us then outward appearance.

If this chick is fat.. then I've been a damn whale my whole life.. I think she looks find.. I've seem fatter chicks working at Hooters.. Hell even strip clubs...

For some of us, it doesn't matter how much you work out or diet you are made the way you are made. I have an hour glass figure.. meaning I will never have that tiny little figure that fits perfectly in everything. I have small boobs, little waist and a full ass. Not everyone can look like a runway throwing up, no eating, skinny ass run way model. For me.. I'd rather be considered fat so some... then skinny to all!

Destructos.. I couldn't agree more.... being able to love all women and all sizes.. says a lot about you. Women are a work of art.. to me I think women are beautiful creatures that should be admired. I love strip clubs and I love art of naked women.. am I gay by no means... I love vintage pin ups.. why? because they where not perfect.. they where more normal natural women. But that's just me..

Society has manipulated a womens imagine.. you are proving it with saying this young lady is fat. I do know what kind of girls live in Wisconsin. I live in Georgia and nothings grows like it does in the south. As a competitive cheerleader and softball player I've been bigger and small through out my life. All my life I have tried to maintain a degree of fitness but I've had times that I was over weight form medications that I had no control over. So when I see someone calling a young lady that has a little extra skin fat it bothers me. Yes I say I would be called a whale because I've been much bigger than this girl. I do not look like that now because I bust my ass in the gym as much as I can.. not because I don't want to be fat.. but because I want to be strong.. I want to be able to watch my child grow up and I want to be a mother and active with her. I want to coach her cheerleading squad and I want to be able to play softball with her.... Not to be skinny or attractive. When you are faced with the disease that will take movement, the ability to move your hands and feet.. you learn every quickly to make the best of the good years.. You also gain a respect for those people who love you no matter what size you are.
