Also I really liked "Alphas" its like xmen in a way only show format but was very good and others I showed really enjoyed it.
Just watched the full series of Vikings. Highly recommend it if you like Game of thrones, similar but on a much smaller scale.

I also love Deadwood. One of my all time favorites.
I forgot about Deadwood great series wished it was longer!
It makes me very sad that it was only three seasons. HBO really screwed that one. David Milch was/is a genius.
The wire hands down #1 show for me of all time. Season 2 was mehhhh but overall epic storytelling and great depiction of the different lives.

Couldn't agree more. Two was so-so, but I have grown to like it more on re-watch. I really think it's one of the most important shows about city life to be made. Everyone needs to watch it.
David Simon really knew Baltimore, so I have no doubt it is true to the city.
Vikings>>>> Game of thrones
One show I would recommend is supernatural. funny show has a real great plot and full of different kinds of crazy stuff. vampires werewolves angels demons Lucifer all kinds of stuff. Its not just one show then the next it all pretty much runs together to make one dam big show.
grimlock "netflix original" series is good if your into twisted weird vampire shit(no not like true blood or twilight)

I'll log on and wee what else is on there. I watch so many things I gotta see whats on netflix. Watch a lot of torrents.
Not sure how you feel about torrents but its a lot better than waiting months/years before shit comes to netflix.

Yes I go to DC every now and then so I hear you. I caught one episode one night when I was in a hotel found it interesting and bought the series. Very well done imo. The dynamics of that city is very interesting for sure.

Breaking bad for sure because who doesnt want to watch a show with money and drugs you might learn a little something lol Game of thrones single best show out just wait until the later seasons the story line is just incredible twist and turns at every corner you will not believe what happens in the later seasons walking dead and dexter is pretty good i didnt mind learning how to dispose of those bodys i had in my back yard :)))))
Trailer Park Boys. I like it because its so true. I can name a comparable family member for every character on that show. A lot of it is improvisational comedy but the main actors (who are also the writers) work well together. Dont watch it expecting to get in to a story. You watch it when work thoughts are killing you and you need a show to make you lose a few IQ points.
Edit: and metalocalypse because you will need to have watched it when the end comes.

My new shit on Netflix is Comedy Bang Bang. It may be an acquired taste, not sure. Very funny though if you have a sense of humor.
Game of thrones is great. I ended up buying the other seasons on vudu and now I'm reading the books. I enjoyed being human quite a bit too. I just wrapped up all the available episodes of that one. It's a vampire and a werewolf that are natural enemies trying to co-exist with normal jobs. It took me a few episodes to get into, but it gets really active.
I finally gave in a started watching The Walking Dead. Watched all of season 1 in one night. Didn't get any sleep which sucked, but I do find it pretty interesting. I wish Netflix would crime out with season 4 of The League. That's my show.
I went and looked thru the porn on my provider and its all shit..better off watch
TCM or something else...
I recommend Battlestar Galactica. The ending was a slight let down for me but it is a pretty long series with lots of twists and turns. Plus Lucy Lawless..
And as mentioned below, Vikings. I cannot wait for the second season of that.

Each episode has so much detail in it at times the story hardly progresses lol. #1 series for me, above the sopranos and breaking bad.

The first series of 'Underbelly' is pretty good also. Bssed on actual events from the criminal underworld in Australia during the 90's. Good watch.

As others have said....sons of anarchy because of amazing shocking and suspenseful story lines. Also trailer park boys because of insanely funny and whacked out characters and their jacked up lives.
