So, assuming there is at least one person on here who has good knowledge on radar detectors (for vehicles) Looking to buy one, top of the line preferably 
post up some links and help me out, oh - and feel free to debate what kind you think is best!!

Fact is nothin is 100% except doing the speed limit. But f' that it drives me crazy I know... So alternatives are 1 always drive w/ a pregnant chick and be all she's going into labor if stopped. 2 get a radar detector but I've always heard u r definitely getting a ticket if stopped w/ one. 3 carry multiple license plates and a tazer. Drive a very common car and when the man stops u taze his ass speed away change the plates And ur clothes then ur good to keep going!

You need optical, acoustic, and infrared stealth as well
really what you want is a paint that absorbs or deflects radar. There are a lot paints that disrupt digital photography. You need sharp angles and some interesting materials
Carbon fiber may deflect radar to an extent. But they also use lazer now, not just radar.
Police are also trained in timing vehicles visually, and when they setup a speed trap they can estimate your speed using landmarks, and visual reference points. This is all admissible in courts.
I suggest using a mixture of radar deflecting paints, mirrors at 15% angles, and carbon fiber. Also by adding Chaff and smoke grenades, as well as Oil slicks and some CS pepper balls you can deter many police efficiently.
Or you could just drop a box or crispy creme out the window when the hit the lights.
There really isn't a way around their radar's. They use 2 systems simultaneously once your radar go's off its to late. I have learned to just watch my surroundings and other drivers. I received more tickets with them dam detectors then with out. I live in a state were everyone drives 15-20 miles over the speed anyways, I like finding some idiot that's blasting and just keep a safe pace. I blew past LE at 140mph once and they didnt even care to budge. Scared the crap out of me though! Just be safe bro dont push it and if your already running 110 just put her to the floor and find a side road.

AnonI have had mixed feeling about them and have basically made a career out of speeding. Valentine1 and pasport work well and I see them in a lot of cars. The nicest install if you can afford it is when the valentine is etched in to the rear view mirror.
Radar detectors only work if there are other cars on the road. If you find your self alone ,a waiting copper will have his radar off and it will be triggered by you when its too late. Its called "instant on".
Far better than a radar detector, is if you can get both a trooper and a local cop to give you a plastic PBA card/badge with their cell number written on it in sharpe. Thos have bailed me out more times than any radar detector.
The other option if your car is fast and you have some skill is just dont stop. I ran that system for about 15 years. Those were the 15 cleanest years on my licence.

I tried the Valentine One for a few months... omg that thing was annoying chirped at every damn thing that wasn't a cop... shit would never stop. I got rid of it quick.
If and when I get pulled over, I'm overly nice and calm with the officer, and that has gotten me out of a few speeding tickets.... But I got a heavy foot and the radar has saved my ass more times then I can count. I always try not to speed too hard if I'm leading, and make sure there is a car in front in the distance if I'm hauling ass. That's where the range of your detector really comes into play.
Anonthat was mostly on four, but certainly a few on two. Had a lot of passengers for many. My biggest involved 5 departments.
But in all fairness this was before the days when everyone had a cell phone. Its a lot harder now. Last time I tried I got caught up in traffic and a good samaritan had been kind enough to tell the trooper which way I went. So even though I had a big lead from hitting about 157 ,they all convereged upon me. Still I only got a ticket for 82 because thats what he initially saw me at, after that it was "hammer down "and outa sight.
I'm big fan of Beltronics radar detectors and have went through a few... But the best radar on the market right now is the Escort Redline. It has the craziest range out of all the radars on the market right now, cannot be detected by radar detector-detectors (detectors are illegal in certain states), and shows Ka freq to rule out bogies. The specs and features on this thing are great if you interested in the best device out for detecting radar/laser and not the bs frills (gps/redlight camera).
I'm planning on phasing out my Beltronics RX65 to get one.
Read up on the Redline... it is an amazing device and definitely leads the pack.
I assume you are talking about the ones for your vehicle. i personally use the escort 9500. Works very well for me, although i am not subscribed for the red light ones. + Its currently the top rated one according to top 10 reviews.

EDIT: and if you really want top of the line you could go for the one that has to be built into your rig. its like 1600. LoL. According to what i read it aint really worth the extra 1000.
