How do you get karma points?? and am aware there for promos but what else are they for.?? Thank you obviously new to this but so far it's been helpful.

Others have had mixed success by sending nude pic of yourself to a Mod, ( others have lost karma by doing it.)
Asking questions about getting more karma can also have a negative effect. Best to use the search function.

It just means you’re active In the forum and contribute where you can. I wouldn’t put much weight into it.
AnonWith great karma (usually 5+) comes great responsibility my child.
Please do brush up on the whole promowhore thing. It's not ok to go and join (or attempt to join) 37 active promos. It's frowned upon. Most promos have a karma restriction of 5 or so, but you're expected to submit a review in return after the cycle is either well under way or completed.
Also, if you join promos and submit too many reviews you could very easily be seen as a promo whore and get dead.
It's best to spend a lot of time reading on here to avoid a faux pas. There are 2 sides to the karma coin..
Logging on everyday and sharing knowledge on new posts is the best way to be seen as someone who is a helpful addition, and not a nobody who will be gone in a month.
Thank you. Not on here to get free stuff without doing the work that comes with the promos, actually see it as a tool to keep motivated while learning a few things. Thanks again for the insight.
You can get karma by being active in the forums. Also posting self pics and lab reports.
Aside from promos karma can be used to vote for your source helping them in the ratings and submitting new sources.
