just got fucking worked....
So a doctor buddy of mine bought a 26 ft. ocean going outrigger canoe. Ya know, the kind the ancient Hawaiians used. it's a 4 man canoe that is tough as Hell. He and some of his buddies have been out in it a few times and i finally got to go out today for the first time. there were only 3 of us but it was still very do-able. two hours of paddling 20 counts through surf and up and down the beach then fighting the tide for the last 2 miles just about killed me. im 4 weeks off cycle now and have lost 5 lbs, being kind of lazy and eating like shit. basically, enjoying all the shit i couldn't do on cycle... but after getting out of that canoe i felt like a fucking superhero. i felt like i had bigger back muscles than any back day i ever had on cycle. that shit is nothing to play with!! im hooked!!! too bad my next cycle won't be till October 'cause i'm definitely wishing i had some gear to go with my new favorite back workout.

CleyonDude, rowing is a severe workout! I used to be on a crew team back in the day. I give that the credit for my retained back muscles even with the complete neglect it experienced for years.
yea dude its rediculous. i have always had a pretty good back composition because i surf a lot but this is rediculous. almost went out today but the weather was sketchy.
CleyonI have to say, that yo are doing ocean rowing, which has to be harder than what I was doing (four man crew) on the river. On the plus side we were going pretty fast at points. I've always liked the 2000meter races. If it wasn't so damn expensive I'd still be doing it.
Wish he was my Doctor buddy, get him to write me scripts & use the boat!
Damn now I wanna get my canoe out, major plus is that I'm on cycle.
Nice
Sounds awesome!!
