My training partner has Plantar Warts on fingers, and he wants to lift with me, and Plantar Warts are the same thing as HPV warts. Warts are fucking gross!

WeatherwedThey're contagious. I dont play around with that sh-t. If it were me I would tell him flat out why I can't train with him. He needs to get them removed- which is a nasty surgical process that cuts deep into the tissue.
One plus is that you lift- having toughened skin prevents infection. They say walking in bare feet to build up your skin is a good way to prevent getting them on your feet.

Even without him covering them the chances of you catching them are low. The salicylic acid bandaids are flimsy and probably wont stay on during a strenuous lift. You can ask him to wrap over them with coban or athletic tape that would make it very unlikely you get them but the chance is still not zero.
LOL its a simple freezing in the office with liquid nitrogen and they welt up and fall off.
