Help me figure out advertising on eroids

In case you haven't noticed, ads have stopped showing up on eroids because Google revoked my AdSense partnership, apparently due to TOS violation. This almost means I gotta start looking for a real job. Really, this fucking sucks ...for everyone! Unless you help me figure out alternative advertisement plans.
- Do you know anyone that needs their ads displayed roughly 3.3+ million times per month?
- Do you know a good affiliate program?
Do you mind me showing you ads from steroid sources?- How bout supplements, penis pills and shit like that - is that offending?

I'm a personal trainer @ a large high priced club where 75% of the clients are taking supplements wrong and just uneducated in general , I Train the GM who will be down for sure just for the fact that he works off salary as well as commission . I started with the proper way to take supplement ,his diet ,hydration to getting the proper amount of sleep. He just brought up a way to teach people this knowledge & was curious on how to get T.R.T clients in our gym . Their aren't any Trainers at this facility who don't look the part & are not knowledgeable on the topic. As a matter of fact I was going through a couple different sources and one of my clients recommended Naps & I'm very happy with this source...We also Train on the side specifically with clients where we supply there supplements , monitor & show them how rewarding this lifestyle is when done properly , Not sure if this is what you were looking to avoid but it will not be an illegal add.
i think you should start your own ad program like adsense. they arent to hard to start up, you just need to get advertisers to join, so may take a month or so, but should be extremely beneficial to you.
i hope you handle that shit!!!! fuck a real job bfg! id be happy to deal with any ads you put up.

How about a pop up page that goes to a shell site that uses AdSense. Then script that page to close automatically. The shell page would have our unique IPs and then you can fill said shell site with legal supplement bs so it doesn't look like you have completely flopped out of the category you've dealt in previously.

AnonKeep the forums free. All the info on how to, why and why not, compound and cycle discussions. All that should stay free. The "basic" membership. Then if you want access to sources and reviews/discussions tht comes with the premium membership. By the month, 6 month, 12 months. Membership price discounted more the longer you purchase. No one could bitch about that. Everything to do with health and safety free to the gen public. With the screening process and the way you guys try to make sure no D-bags get source tags no one that knows how cut throat this shit can be should complain about that.
AnonThat wouldnt work. Theres another site out there of which Im not gonna name that is exactly like eroids. They cloned us almost perfectly. And if eroids began charging, members would simply go to other sites that offer the service of reviewing steroids vendors for free.
Although I'm new, I'm only new to this site. It's the only "public" forum that I've joined. I do however belong to a few "private" boards and a couple of "public/private" boards that all charge fees in one way or another.
We feel that it helps maintain "true" integrity of what is going on. We don't have beggars and bottom feeders lurking around the corners looking for handouts and acting like children. In addition it's a plus from a legal standpoint of not just allowing anyone to join.
So far I like this particular board and wish you guys all the luck in maintaining the program. I'm in either way. ;)
FYI: Paid ads work well. The people making the money should be willing to spend the money………..
AnonAnyone that knew better wouldn't. Also word would get around that these guys vet the sources and monitor things closely. I know of four other sites including the one that uses eroids format and there are little to no requirements to be a source on them. These dudes have perfected this type of site, but they never stop looking for ways to improve. There are a lot of guys ( not saying your one) who are acting like eroids is some kind of right. Life, Liberty, and Eroids!!! Wtf. These dudes do this to earn. No doubt they wanna see others get the most out of this lifestyle. The "fit" life. Friendships have been born out if this community. It's probably where some of you spend the majority of your work day. Lol. Still if thread-m or whoever else wants to charge a fee to be able to enjoy all the benefits of eroids so be it. This site is the single greatest source of knowledge on becoming physically fit I have found. Period. And like I said if u have enough disposable income to do this (AAS). Do it right I mean. You have enough for a site membership fee. The dudes that wouldn't are the ones that cruise around waiting for the free shit promos and spaz if they don't make it. Or when they finally scratch enough up for 150-200 min order they worry the shit out of the source wanting to know why their pack hasn't landed 2 days after payment is picked up. Then after the source stops responding to mail and Pm's cause they send 3 of each a day talking about nothing, they spam the review page with bullshit cause its been 8 days since funds were picked up and they don't have their pack and blah blah blah!!!! I think making this a premium site would work. It's the real deal. Real will always recognize real. Also doing that would weed out a lot of the jerk offs that make most of us scratch our heads and say wtf. Or where's nitti. Lol

Your example is too restrictive. Donations and/or entry fees to the EBC for example would generate some income.
Bottom line is I don't think you could generate enough income charging a membership fee anyway.
There is a particular site I used to use (before eroids) that offered a day pass for $9.95 just to swoop in and grab info on a handful of SRC's
this is an INCREDABLE idea!!! i would gladly pay $ to be a member of this site, it would also cut down on bullshit fake members and trolls!!!!!
Im not beating the membership $ drum guys... All I'm saying is that some of us are of a pre-eroids era and I really didn't mind tossing down an occasional $10 when a SRC went south
I would think just a "supporting member" tag or icon would be plenty. Those of us that believe in the site and are grateful for what we have here aren't going to worry about "premium" benefits.
I am a member of an outdoors website that has done the sponsoring member bit for at least ten years now and if you act a fool pay or not you still get banned. It would not be a free pass to be an asshole.

There would need to be a free option with just the base function of the site (viewing source ranking, reviews and discussion boards, the ability to post pictures of source gear and post a cycle plan for feedback) but all the other fun stuff like EBCs and getting to post in the boards could be made premium without the site losing its honesty and differentiating factor from the other roid boards

I would simply look at your average total revenue per month, divide it up by how many advertising slots would be available and sell the spots for that amount. If the demand is there great, if not you may have to lower prices...either way after a month or two advertisers will either stick with you because it's cost effective, or not.
I ran a membership site for 8 years with 5000 members at the high point...there are a lot of things that will make it work...with this type of business I only think it makes sense if you can structure it where a small part of the site has some sort of unique member benefits, otherwise your traffic will get slammed down and hurt advertising revs. $19.99 a month would be a good price point. (recurring)
The name of the game is TRAFFIC...you have it, so I would be careful with the membership idea unless you structure it like I mentioned. The porn operators have natural traffic, and they do a lot of affiliate stuff and traffic sharing, the difference is it's extremely competitive...I don't believe you have that issue and can still do well with finding the right high margin advertisers. I believe the steroid suppliers are your best bet simply because they don't have the same avenues to buy quality traffic from niche sites like these.

I think I remember shirts being available back in the day...if you wanna put overpriced Eroids shirts or some gym apparel for sale through a vendor....I'd purchase some of these items to keep things rolling! At least it doesn't technically fall into a "donation" since we get a shirt or shaker bottle for it lol! Have no clue when it comes to internet advertising...but at least you definitely have plenty of people willing to help whatever way we can though!
