Help me figure out advertising on eroids

In case you haven't noticed, ads have stopped showing up on eroids because Google revoked my AdSense partnership, apparently due to TOS violation. This almost means I gotta start looking for a real job. Really, this fucking sucks ...for everyone! Unless you help me figure out alternative advertisement plans.
- Do you know anyone that needs their ads displayed roughly 3.3+ million times per month?
- Do you know a good affiliate program?
Do you mind me showing you ads from steroid sources?- How bout supplements, penis pills and shit like that - is that offending?
- Any other ideas?

At this point, an advertising agent and plug them in the good old fashioned way, one at a time, spot for spot. I think we would all be surprised how many mainstream companies would discretely advertise to a direct target audience.
I think TOS violation is a chicken shit way for Google to bail on you and a comment below hits it on the head, likely a referral to act more than a desire. They are pretty liberal.
A professional ad agent would probably bite your arm off for a chance to fill your pages with ads and they damned well might get you responses. Want bricks laid... go to brick layer. Want to buy a car... go to a car lot.
being that is a AAS site and what most of us our doing is an illicit activity. i cant imagine why any of us would become offended over what adds are ran. if it keeps your income flowing do it. if it offends someone, its a shame, maybe they need a backbone. i love the saying "its not my fault i offend you, its your parents fault for making such a pussy!" as our "leader, i believe most of us appreciate you asking our input, but all of us should realize and be comfortable that what ever it takes to keep this place up and going without compromising the content or overall integrity should be acceptable.

I have absolutely no problem seeing penis pill ads or whatever it takes for you to pay the bills. Like greg said, those buysteroids.com folks would sell their firstborn to get ads on here. I think the steroid source ads should be limited to people who aren't sources on here to maintain the objectivity of the website.
You should set up a secure way for us to pay you, have a premium members content area with certain perks that the free memberships don't get. I have no problem paying for a membership.

With all that BFG might as well give up his day job completely. Running a forum to that extent takes a full days work, constantly needing to produce new content and keeping peoples interest that pay. Do I have an issue paying? Yes I do because it will turn this site into about 50 members versus the over 200 we have now. No one is going to pay for a forum membership unless it hits thousands of people and that will be very hard to do since we cater to a more "exotic" lifestyle. Let the sources pay for advertising and have tiers of payment not just the one who pays the most wins every time. We will start to lose sources fast that way too. Whatever choices are made hopefully will appeal to everyone and not 1 or 2 people.
I hope there is a way of doing this that keeps the sources out of buying banner ads because I think that will compromise the integrity of this site. Who is going to leave a bad review for a source that has ads plastered all over the site, in fear the users account my be penalized for attacking the source clearly keeping the lights on. On the same note, how will it look if one of the mods attacks a review, like all these shitty reviews that we see by new users who haven't received their products in 2 days and leave a bad review, and the source is one paying for the most ad space? It might look like the mods are directed to censor bad reviews for a big-paying source. Im not saying any of the guys on this site would do something like that, but it is a slippery slope to start down. If there is a way to keep this site operational without the sources having to pay the bills, and it involves me paying a membership fee, I have absolutely no problem with that.
Im not saying make it a members only site, but make there be a reward for buying a membership: maybe premium members get discounts with certain sources who are willing to work with the site to set something like this up. Maybe premium members get more posting privileges, or automatically get double karma everytime they get upvoted. Or maybe the free members can only post in source reviews, source discussions and to ask cycle advice and can only upload pictures related to a source's gear. We obviously want free members to be able to use the site for its primary function: as an objective review site, but there is a lot more fun to be had here that isn't directly related to that. Using the search function will answer just about any question a noob can have and if you limit the ability of free users to post outside of the reviews section, you will cut down on the number of dumbasses asking questions that have already been answered a thousand times.
The Pros and Mods will have premium privileges without having to pay obviously, and maybe Guru gets 6 months discounted, Level 3 people will get 3 months at a discount rate, Lvl 2 will get 2 months discounted, Lvl 1 will get 1 month discounted and the rest of us pay full price or something.

Regardless- premium membership is a good idea, but thats besides the point because judging by everyone's comments on this thread, BFG should have no problem finding legitimate buyers of AD space

Also, did google go into specifics on what TOS you violated? Perhaps you could tweak website content to satisfied their TOS

I am okay with whatever you have to do to pay the bills. What about a membership? I know we have our own set of security issues, but I would imagine one of them cards we put money on at Rite-aid or walmart would suffice in keeping everyones anonymity. I have gained a ton of knowledge here BFG and I am sure I am not alone in my willingness to show our appreciation.
AnonStick to suppliments and everyday things is my view. Adult ads and dating sites will lower the tone of this forum. I appreciate ads are a must for the upkeep of the site but smut and adult sites do not belong here
I have another suggestion as well (sex) visit any porn site you have shit tons of ads. I don't like live jasmine ads but I rather have that than loose this site.
Show whatever you want, pay the bills, keep the lights on. As happy as i am that you ask the community for their (our) opinion, ultimately we are not responsible for paying your bills. In other words business is business and that's my opinion.
I wouldn't suggest having sources advertise their sites, then this place will turn into all those other shitty forums who advertise sources instead of letting us users vote on who is the best, and it might make this place look like a scam if a newb comes on and buying from an eroids approved ad, and the src never delivers.

There are a couple of problems with allowing a source to advertise...
If they decide to fuck everyone over before they shut up shop, it reflects badly on the credibility of Eroids and its ads.
Eroids would be seen as a site that promotes 'illegal substances', as opposed to a review site, which could attract unwanted attention from the authorities, since promoting the so called 'illegal substances' would be viewed in much the same way as actually selling them. At the very least, you would eventually have to look into hosting the site off-shore.
I'm sure the vast majority of users, myself included, won't really care what you advertise so long as it doesn't affect the user experience.
If I owned Eroids, I would look into legal supplements. You'd be looking at a higher income vs Adsense!
the problem with looking into legal supplements is they want to see the site and they do not want to be affiliated with steroid use; a good idea though!
Pretty sure the site is already hosted offshore. There's no way in hell any AAS forum would do it the other way

I promise you can make allot more than you made from a ad partnership. I'm not sure what your numbers are until I put an ALexa robot to work but i'm assuming you're gonna be sitting pretty with the money you can generate..

Why not just offer ad space to supplement companies like every other forum.
I started a forum which will remain nameless and have already been approached by two well known supplement companies who wish to advertise and we aren't generating a 10th of the traffic you generate.

Your best bet is to start charging top sources for banners and sponsorship.There are numerous things you can do with the site to be honest...it all boils down to how static the web portal platform is?
But you can do LOTS with eroids.....dont feel disheartened! We lost over 18k a month from adsense on 9 sites a few years back.....it hurt like hell....but I just changed my game and monetised the sites in a different way

SRC ads are a great idea, penis pills, porn sites, bring it on brother. I dont think the change will look that different from what was already displayed. And the people that dont care for it dont pay attention to the ads anyhow. I dont care if its ads for a fat ugly people with STDs dating website
