Heating oils in the pin

Could running your pins under hot water to warm the shot up, release any chemicals from the plastic the pin is made from into your oils?

Thats the way I do mine... Once the pin is loaded I carefully put the cover back on, then hold it sideways with the pin end slightly higher and let a slow flow of hot water run over it for a minute or so, letting a little flow over the cover on the pin end. Make for a smooth easy pin. As mentioned tho, be careful that no water gets under the cover and on the pin, if it does, change to a fresh pin on the end.

Just take a hairdryer and warm the vial, would be the simplist/safest way.

If you are that worried about heating up your oils, I do this for my brother, get a heat pack, heat it up, sit pin on top until it warms a little, simple as that, no need to introduce water.

I dont think you can get the plastic hot enough to release chemicals that are not going to be release without warming. Now you could get bacteria on your pin from water. I use hair dryer or just pin that shit as gorillafit said.
Stay away from the water and pins! BACTERIA, Big, red, swolen, painful, arms, legs, ass, pecs, and weight lifting do not go together!!!

Should yes. Any lil trick that keeps the pin clean. It's just easy to get in a rush while heating pin under faucet. If covered and take your time it's most likely safe. Lots of folks do it.
DT-SwoleMy plastic cap stays on the pin really tight, so I just throw the whole syringe under the faucet for about 3-4 minutes. Then I'll wipe it down with the alcohol and good to go!
AnonThat's not safe advice at all bro. I use the faucet personally, but I run the water very slowly and make damn sure not a single bit of it gets near the cap or needle. I had a pin where I slipped up and tagged the base of the needle where the cap sits, and there was a small droplet of water inside the cap - know what that means? UNSTERILE. TAP WATER IS UNSTERILE. I changed needles.

It won't release plastic chemicals but May expose that sterile needle to some germs. I heat the vial with hot water . Alcohol clean rubber and then begin procedures.
If vial is very full....pin fully in vial and warm water bottom of vial. It's the pin breaking the skin so just try n keep that pin virgin clean.
i know they say not to run a babys bottle under hot water for that reason
No, it would never be anywhere near hot enough for that to be possible...
