+ 1 Employment Drug tests for Oil super majors

Hello, I know lots of people have asked about military drug testing and whether they test for gear, but I’m wondering if anyone has ever heard of an employer testing for gear? I recently secured an internship at an oil supermajor this summer and I am wondering if there is any possibility they will drug test for roids at any time.

no one gives a damn about that shit, too expensive to test for and they only care about drugs that will reduce performance.
Rigs are full of dudes running expensive gear and eating expensive fast food.
Keep your cool while interning and never let your emotions dictate your demeanor, as in raging out on your Co workers, trashing office equipments etc. In essence, do not give them reason to suspect youre on gear and ya won't have to worry being tested.
Unless you applying for govt law enforcement type FBI, CIA/ pro athlete I wouldn't worry about it. Most employers just do a basic 5 panel testing for recreational drugs like opiates/meth/coke/thc/pcp. Testing for AAS is very costly and very rarely do non govt non LEO agency test for them. Even at that, think of all the jacked LEO that are obviously on gear and still employed. Urine test can easily be passed also, but hair follicle or blood test.... Forget about it. Goodluck
PcushionI have never heard of that man. It’s a completely different test than standard drug tests. Outside of professional athletes or collegiate athletes it’s almost unheard of. I do know one guy who went through a child custody case, his ex wife told the judge he used steroids. They tested him.
Bigshinsu77I have worked In in the drug test industry for over 6 years and I have never seen any employer test for steroids unless your employed as an athlete, but anything is possible but highly unlikely!

No. Was in the field for years. Now in corporate side. Unless you’re DOT lab tested you can use a $15 bottle of quick fix at virtually any lab. Temp is the only issue. Not to encourage any illegal activity as it is legal to alter in the states.
