Eccentric movements for tendons.
Before reading, please BE AWARE that I'M NO HEALTH RELATED PROFESSIONAL.
I had a triciptal tendinopathy that no doctor could find a way to heal it, till the point the last doctor (I've visited 3 different ones) said I would have to live with it for good, after about 100 physical therapy sessions, ice compresses, spot injections with steroidal anti-inflammatories, etc.
Well, I'm not the kind of person that accepts such type of response untill every single bloody thing has been tried. So I started looking into PubMed website for some possible treatment. So, I found the original publication of the Alfredson protocol for a achilles tendoniti (https://sci-hub.se/10.2165/00007256-200029020-00005). Then, I also read the 2 yrs after follow up and the results were still there.
So I tried it for triciptal tendinopathy. I started it as proposed in the article, but the triceps groups takes a little longer to recover from lifting than the calves. So I adapted it for only one session a day with very slow eccentric movements.
As the movements were slow, the weight wasn't that heavy, so, after week 4, I started to help the concentric movements with the injured arm (before that, I used my left arm to pull the cable down).
Well, after the total of 12 weeks, I was back to my back to my regular triceps exercises, taking the duly care, of course.
Nowadays, the only thing I can't do is a complete arm extension, as I feel something that bugs me inside the olecranon.
This is my experience with triciptal tendonitis, but if you get the logic of it, you can adapt it and try it out on any tendon pain or I júri.
If you have passed through doctors and had no reasonable response, don't be lazy: read the entire Alfredson article and try to adapt to your reality. Start with your body weight and make slow progressions on weights.
Cheers.

Dude it's 2019. Get yourself some regenerative therapy like the pro athletes do for a couple of hundred bucks and stop messing around with the speculative crap. This stuff costs about the same as a cycle, and a medical doctor does it. Prolotherapy or Platelet Rich Plasma injections work like a charm. I suffered from a torn labrum that wouldn't heal, so after six months I went in for the prolo shots. After two treatments over 6 weeks I was back to military presses.
Done. I've changed the title and taken off the roids piece of it.
Hmmmm... Interesting. PRP is controvert. Scientific pubs go both ways. Some say it works, some say it doesn't. Now, I've never hear of prolotherapy (perhaps in Brazil may have a diff name, though). I'll look for something about it. Thanks for the advice (even though I'm already fine).
Oh, by the way, the Alfredson's protocols is not speculative. It is scientific and there are already others protocols based on it, where the diff resides mainly on how much weight or is used. Perhaps what is causing confusion I here is the fact that I mentioned I added nandrolone and T along with it, and this is totally speculative (because scientific pubs also go both ways). Perhaps it may be better if I take that part off the main post.
Diagnosing yourself and encouraging others to do it is reckless imo...
All injuries are different.
Nope. I had a diagnose. I didn't have medical expectation of healing. What I'm doing is just telling about my experience. People do whatever they want with the info. But if you think like that, I believe you probably won't ever post a cycle log or tell whatever protocol you do, otherwise you'd be a huge hypocrat: or by exposing your roids protocol you're not also encouraging others to auto-medicate themselves?
Read the last paragraph you wrote...
Btw you seem to know an awful about the site for a new guy,?
What was your old handle ?
Yes, every injury is diff as every single person responds differently to roids, so protocols should be individualized, nonetheless, lot of ppl post their protocols and are not criticized for doing it. The same happens when someone does "prescribe" workout plans: people are different, and the plans should also be individualized and prescribed only by a professional, nevertheless, many people "prescribe" it.
What I want to show you is that those are analogue situations. Self medicating, self exercising, self applying a recovering from to jury protocol ... there are no child I'm here, and info is all around the internet, and people should do what they believe it's right for them.
I've seen so many people complaining about tendon pain/injury and that medical treatment isn't responsive, and this was my case also. If I hadn't looked after some info, I would never be back to gym again, as my tendon injury didn't allow me to make any resisted movement that requires the triciptal group as agonists, antagonist or supportive.
See, the Alfredson's protocol is ment to Achilles tendinopathy, notwithstanding, I have adapted and applied it to triciptal tendinopathy. So lesions were completely divergent, but with the duly adaptation, the eccentricovement logic worked. And I reinforce: there wasn't a bloody doctor or physical therapist that mentioned this treatment possibility, for people are e so narrow minded.
I see no harm in whatever I said, specially because I was very clear that I wasn't a health professional, also that I wasn't suggesting the use of medications, and that I wasn't prescribing anything, but just telling about my experience (and yes, I read all the rules before posting).
Of course there are things that shouldn't be spread around, as people could really get irreversibly damaged. For example, I truly believe girls can wear any gear, and I have my reasons to believe it. My "test lab" is my wife, and she has already done T, oximetholone, nandrolone, oxandrolone, boldenone, and no, I'm not married to a mix of Neil armstrong + capitain caveman + incredible hulk.... she's still feminine ... and the next "experience" will be tren ace (this was actually what I was looking for suppliers). But this is something I can't just spread around as a misinterpretation or "misdosageing" (I never no clue if this word exists) shall lead to horrible and irreversible virilization/androgeny.
Regarding the second part of your post, sorry bud but English is not my first language, so I still have a hard time to understand some expressions, thus I hope I have gotten what you meant: I'm new to the site and had never had another username. What happens is that I moderate a Brazilian BB forum, so the interface logic is about the same and the knowledge is universal. Llewellyn and PubMed are out there for everyone.
As I came to Europe, I had to find a way to buy gear, so Mr. Google presented me eroids (that I didn't know) and it helped me to make my first order. In Brazil I'd never even think to buy gear over the internet, but only from "fleshy" suppliers (if it makes any sense) and, here in Portugal, the only supplier I talked to didn't sound reliable, so it was when I started looking for online ones.
Well, I hope I have clearly made my point, and I hope you have understood my reasons and my point of view as well.
Have a great week.
Cheers.
I just told you my opinion. Trust me I'm no angel.
I had my gallbladder removed last Friday and honestly I worked arms Sunday. I left that part out of my thread though because I know it was dumb and I dont want other members doing it although I would say most would.
I've learned to be careful with my posts because theres alot of kids that come here looking for designers. I've said shit on here way worse than this and got put in check over it hard. This sites a learning experience. Goodluck
