Drawing with Insulin Syringe (Genotropin)

ad

Does anyone have any experience with drawing from a Genotropin pen with insulin syringes? As far as I understand there is pressure that will be released upon puncturing the seal after activating. I have seen instructions with pen needles, but no real instructions for drawing with insulin syringes. I've thought about just stabbing syringe into the pen prior to activating and pulling plunger completely out to relieve this pressure beforehand. Any thoughts or pointers?

Ehh this is sketch to me brother. I’ve been running Genos and Nords for over a year now and the only time i stick a slin pin in the cartridge is to draw out the last like iu or two that gets left behind when it stops clicking. As for using a slin pin to administer daily IUs I feel like dosing would become extremely off due to the fact that your transferring contents etc as where the pen is giving you a solid dose every time. If you have a excess of slin pins hit a local spot where there’s lots of drug addicts and give them out to them? Idk half serious half not about that. Junkies tend to throw needles on the ground after using them. Save them for some HCG/Peptides? Idk I just can’t see it necessary to use them as means to administer GH from a pen. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful bud.

Yes, tips are available. As that is still an option. I just have a surplus of insulin syringes, so to answer your question, mainly out of convenience and because I want to be as accurate with dosing as I can be. It's not so much the drawing part that I'm uncertain of, I know that the drawing can be done without issues. It's the first draw that I'm unsure of. I've seen several pro's and otherwise experienced guys actually recommend using syringes instead of pen needles out of convenience and less leakage. The first draw seems to inevitably leak slightly whether you use pen needles or insulin syringes. I was just curious if anyone had any tips or methods for this initial draw.

Just the rubber septum on the end of the Genotropin pen where you would screw on the pen needle. Thinking if I relieve pressure prior to activating and reconstituting, that I would be less likely to experience any leakage. That's my thoughts at least. Won't know until I try I guess.

Geno pens are always slightly over filled bro for this reason i wouldnt worry about losing abit when mixing.

Yeah I have seen posts where guys probably over exaggerate the leakage which has caused me to fear it. My thoughts too were that it’s probably minimal. I’m not worried about that, just didn’t want the pressure to blow several units or more out and lose valuable product. Thanks again for the reply!

Insulin syringes can be used to draw but when mixing id stick and insulin needle in the top to release some air.
It is alot easier to buy correct pins for the pen tbh.
