Do you say SCAM?

ad

I want your thoughts on this Eroiderz:
VI BODY Challenge, Body by VI? I seen the NONI Juice and all the other ones and thought the same thing...(garbage). But this company is going ALL out with the win a New BMW offer and the $25,000,000.00 in prizes?
For those of you who have not seen this new (MLM)-Multi-Level-Marketing it's basically a pyramid profit business. You have to buy into the product and then get hundreds of thousands of people below your belt also doing the same thing recruiting, recruiting, & recruiting. Hence. Pyramid to make money or get free products. The product is a great idea as it is pushing a healthy lifestyle so I can't kill it too bad. BUT...If you look at the companies ingredients and how little is in each product you wonder why the hell anyone would buy this when they could go online or into a nutrition store and get better products? Their products are really the next slim fast type scheme. Sure if you stop eating garbage all day and fast food and switch to some shakes by replacing (2-3) meals while cleaning up your diet you’re going to lose some weight! Hell Fat Jared did it with Subway, Why? Because he ate like a slob for years and then switched over to subway every day. There was a change in calories, fat, sodium and sugar?? Hmmmm wonder how it happened?LOL. Anyways do you guys think that this type of MLM marketing is fair to people who do not know any better and end up losing money and wasting time trying to meet demands of recruiting nonstop? Check it out but don't get lured in, don’t look into their eye's. Bwaaahaaahaahaa.

I have a friend who's made bank doing it. She was a weight loss consultant for years at an actual business, no pyramid shit. She's good at motivating the lifestyle. It's worked well for her. She's making more now than she was before, but it's just a fad. It won't last forever. People are making changes because they are exercising and eating healthy, not because of the products. I see the good in it. People are getting healthy. I personally wouldn't invest though.

No I see your point...It is promoting a healthy lifestyle or change which is good. And yes the money part is good if you can continue to promote to get people under you. I just always feel bad for the people who get in last and can't recruit. But not to mention you could buy a jug of decent protein meal replacement shakes and do some what of the same thing with a change in diet and motivation! FOR A LOT LESS Smile

I agree. That's why I would never do it, but I'm not going to knock others. I guess it just depends on the person doing it. If someone can actually help you in anyway that's good. If people are just loading these people up with stuff and not guiding them to make personal changes and sell the stuff that's not cool.

"do you guys think that this type of MLM marketing is fair to people who do not know any better and end up losing money"

all marketing is not fair lol

the point of marketing is to decieve the viewer about a product. All advertising does that shit. Some advertising is backed by quality product but most is a lie!

Just wondering where people draw the lines. Bottom line is if I would not sell it to my family I would not sell it period.

That's more like it. People get confused between scams and rip offs. If the product is genuine but over priced it's just a rip off not a scam. People that can afford it won't care as much. If the product is phony and does nothing for you that is a scam.

I would never sell phony shit to anyone. My conscience would be too heavy for it to be worth the money for me. I wouldn't judge the people that would do it though. To each their own. WE are responsible for our own research and must decide for ourselves whom to trust.

I guess that's pretty much the truth right there. Some people just love to spend money regardless of the legitimacy factor. My main concern about the whole deal was the minute amount of ingredients they had in the products and why not just go to a GNC type store and get it for less.

The big thing I've noticed with these MLM deals is the social aspect. When you are involved you host company parties and try to recruit more members like a religion or a cult. That sounds bad and dark but I don't mean it that way. It's a way for like-minded people to get together and maybe make some money and friends.

I can see that being more of a draw to certain people than just going to a store. I however am not interested in being that social. My wife is the only friend I need and I order my stuff online Smile

Can't personally hate on it. My friends are driving those beemers and have taken like two trips to Miami this year. Everybody gotta hustle. Or you can just stay stuck in the lower middle class.

Frank Columbo's picture

That's awesome. It works for some people but those people bust their asses signing people up. If you expect quick easy money without the work you will fail.

like the people buying magic supplements

I have a former coworker who does this. Every Facebook post she puts up is a sales pitch. It's not really a scam, it's just a rip off. The products will help if used correctly but cost way too much, like all MLM schemes.

These systems work for some people to get a healthy lifestyle going so I don't knock it too much. However, your friends will start to hate you and your cult member/salesman personality when you relentlessly pitch products to them.

Also, Jared WALKED a couple miles to Subway everyday! That adds up. He also just got 6 inchers. People driving to Subway to pound footlongs aren't quite following in Jared's footsteps LOL.

Yeah I never got suckered into these MLM schemes. I found out about through a buddy who kept sending me links I finally opended it up and was like "Bud come on don't send me this crap". He is one of those guys who buys into every over night schemes.

and jared had AIDS. anyone seen that south park episode

Genetix's picture

Did he get it from that nasty ass subway processed meat?

Frank Columbo's picture

That's right! I forgot about his AIDS

ac89's picture

I want all of you to have AIDS

Frank Columbo's picture

Aids for everybody! Excuse me, AIDES for everybody!!!

ac89's picture

It's fair. People are ignorant to what they eat and what they put in their bodies. I want to know everything about what goes in my body, food, supplement, protien, gear. Since most people don't care what goes in their body then they deserve to fall victim to these supplement companies that promise great results. Also laziness is a big factor here, everyone now days is looking for a magic pill, they don't want to get off their ass and put in the work.

Genetix's picture

Agreed. I still hate the fact that you get these companies that make hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars selling SHIT! A lot of us who are dedicated to the gym or training in general get a bad rap. I hate when some one makes it look so easy when in reality it's a lifestyle and sometimes hard but that's what makes training fun.

ac89's picture

to us no one makes it look easy. It's the general population that thinks it's easy. I have heard so many time people say I don't want to take creatine because I'm not trying to bulk up to big. People are f'n idiots

Frank Columbo's picture

Hahaha serious. I can't count the times people have told me they don't want to lift more than 5 pound dumbbells because they're afraid of accidentally getting huge ripped muscles.

j223's picture

Yeah or the 160lb 6 foot tall dweebs that do 30 reps per set because they "want to get cut"
