Assuming you aren't illiterate , do you read and if so what's the last book you read? I like some of those dark adult comics. Some are just flat out stupid but funny none the less. For you self proclaimed intellectuals out there, I suggest anything by Robert Greene. The 48 Laws of power. 33 strategies of war. The art of seduction maybe for you slimy fucks who want to prey on wounded animals and hijack the poonany!

That book is a gem. If I'm not confusing it with another about Lewis and Clark. The section where they march through the winter trying to reach St. Louis, wading through chest deep water with several feet of snow on the ground... Most of them losing limbs, frostbite, gangrene, shooting the deserters... fascinating indeed.
Recently labored through George RR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire". Good series IMO. Currently reading another of Martin's books "Fevre Dream". Not a big time reader, but will definitely get down on a book from time to time.
More a fiction/fantasy geek.
the movie american sniper does not do the book justice... The american sniper 'the book' is a must read for every american
about 3/4 of the way thru it Gym J, being a vet myself I no longer read many modern combat or military novels however, you're right brother this is a must read for any red blooded American. the guys on the teams covered our arse just about anytime we made our way thru another city, town, or village. much love and respect for these guys! to see what we've seen to only return home and have something like this happen, just makes no damb sense. goes to show us that dwelling on the past and yesterday doesn't matter, and I, we, should cherish what is today.

Blood Meridian, by Cormac McCarthy. It's the Moby Dick of Westerns. Don't read it on a full stomach.
Cormac Mccarthy is an incredible writer. Blood meridian was an incredibly graphic and deep story, def not for the faint of heart. Try "The road" by Mccarthy, set in the future in a post apocalypse setting, it's intense as anything you will ever read.

stephen hawkings A brief history of time and The grand design. Who says meatheads cant be intellectual? Especially since I plan on starting Whose design is it anyways next. That guy has so much time on his hands it allows him to think way outside the box and I do believe in quite a bit of what he says about the universe and religion, e.t.c. I used to read books such as the art of war and Machiavelli when I was younger but im getting old.

It's a great story and full of honor. It's not very well written in my opinion. He was a great guy. You kind of read the same stuff over and over and that gets boring.

No I haven't. I doubt I will either. I spent 9 years in spec war (15 years ago) and just do not have interest in reading too many books by guys I know that are interested in breaking operational security. I have nothing but respect for Marcus Luttrell; and Lt. Murphy got to my command about a year after I left, but the stories are the same across the board. I am reading American Sniper because I heard it was a good read and the movie was awesome. But so far I'm not impressed as far as entertainment value.
I just got done with Strategic Relocation—Third Edition, altho its more of a reference guide than a literary novel. Also, Freeway Rick Ross the untold biography, None Dare Call It Conspiracy, Dead Doctors Dont Lie, and whatever other titles i can make out on the book shelf from where im sitting lol
