diet help

ad

So hi everyone first thing is I am a very picky eater.

Breakfast normally is s bowl of arisen bran with 2% organic milk.

Snack is a protein bar, orange, or a 100 calior pack of mix nuts.

Lunch could be a peanut butter and jelly or shat ever I cooked the night before

Snack the same as other snack

Supper could be fish, chicken, or beef. With a salad

What's bad is some times I hated to cook and I get tired of the same food.

Would like suggestion on some better stuff for cutting but would like to keep my weight.

Ok let's start by looking at what you need... At 200lb I would suggest 300g of protein and no more than 150g of carb, which all carbs should be consumed min 8hrs prior to sleep... Now we divide this into 6 meals. Is going to be 50g protein in every meal, and 50g of carb 1st 3 meals so if it was me and trying to sort of stick w/ what u have down it would go something like:
Meal 1- 3/4 serving of raisin bran 1 serving milk, 1 1/2 scoop protein shake w/ water

Meal 2- 6 whole eggs or I eat 12 whites hard boiled, 1 serving oats no sugar use sweetener and cinnamon to taste

Meal 3- 8 oz meat of choice, veggies, and 1 serving brown rice

Meal 4- 2 servings peanut butter, 1 1/2 servings low-fat cottage cheese, 1 serving plain Greek yogurt, use sweetener and cinnamon to taste.

Meal 5- 8-10oz meat of choice, green veggies, and large romaine or spinach salad w/ evoo and vinegar for dressing

Meal 6- 2 scoop caseine protein w/ water before bed.

Hope this helps a lil bit anyway?

Sure, u need another 20g of protein in this meal, I was trying to mix it up a lil for ya. So you have a bunch of options. You can have an 8oz chicken breast, or can of tuna, and skip the yogurt and cottage cheese. And have 1 tablespoon pb for dessert, even add some sugar free jelly to it?

That's what I use, the crunchy.
For the 2nd meal, you could go w/ a big pb&j on 2 slices whole wheat. Go w/ 3 servings pb, sugar free jelly, and have 1 serving Greek yogurt. Then for 4th meal (this is what I have) 12 hard boiled egg whites, 1 serving natural almonds...

The diet is poor, check out the diet section on cutting bro. What was your on-training diet like?
I don't mean to sound like a complete douche, thats the best advice I can give tbh on what you've given us.

Don't worry brother, we are all here to help. How often do you train?

jasm87's picture

Do you think you'd benefit from joining a gym, bro - it doesn't need to be everyday... 3 days a week to lose the weight is fine.
