I find it amazing that there are guys that take your Karma for no reason or personal reasons. Thats cowardly and unacceptable. If you are going take Karma you should at least say why. How can you correct something if you dont know what you did.

Greg has been here since Adam was a child, but relative newcomers like you and I see Karma as some kind of reward for positive contributions, and when it gets taken away, we want to know why and by whom. Yes - in the scheme of real life, it's inconsequential, but for some people, me included, these forums constitute real social interaction. Whether that is a good or bad thing is a topic for another thread - but that's just the way of the 21st C. People literally live and die on social media, so it IS actually real life, not some abstract. ok - enough from me. Have a good one.

Loosing 2 karma points is nothing, ever lost a few hundreds, I think not so u don't know what really sucks! ;)
What gets me is when you see these guys that have registered years ago that have posted a forum and are on 1500 karma and have then got banned - some of them seem like straight up intelligent guys so it makes you wonder what they did that was so bad lol
It is simple, karma was abused for a lot of years. Over time along with trial and error we figured out a better way to deal with them. Karma in the real world means nothing but here in the world of eroids it does mean something. The threat of being stripped of all of your karma over time has lead to a drastic reduction of bullshit here.
Oh no doubt it works and they deserved it mate, I just kinda mean they must have done something very wrong all of a sudden when they seemed of good character from some of the things they have written.
