Gothics birthday is coming up at the beginning of next month. I've been really thinking hard about getting him something UNUSUAL as he is the love of my life. I finally decided that we are going to go sky diving. I am sooooo excited!! I mean it is a way better present than last years where I got him tickets to see Dirk Novitsky play basket ball.. I mean it was fun for me sitting right down on the side line with all those sweaty men but I don't think he really enjoyed it. So, I picked the hottest sexiest looking sky diving instructor and bought us some lessons and a date to jump out of a plane together ;-) I sure hope he likes it.

Whud up Grrrl!!! Awesome!! I jumped for 6 years and competed for 3...then had my minnie me and my priorities got shifted!! I miss it at times but i LOVE my pasttime now...its also a hell of a lot cheaper! Lol!! Enjoy!! U both will LOVE IT! What ya doin? A tandem or are you sitting through the AFF/AFP class? DEF get the video...I still have mine from back in 1995 and its awesome to watch again and again. AWESOME gift idea!!

Ok in all seriousness. It will be an amazing experience for you. But bear in mind a tiny little piece of alloy called a capewell. This tiny fragile part of the harness is what attaches the person you are attached to, to the risers and ultimately the chute. When I did my last jump in 09 it was a very painful experience. I broke my right ankle. Although I didn't do a free fall jump all mine were static line so you should be fine big guy.
My friend went skydiving and very excitedly told me all about it...sounds really like a great thrill for those who are adrenaline junkies like me. But then he said the weight limit is 250lbs...I looked at him and said "Well looks like I'll never be able to go sky-diving thanks asshole!" FML...just like the rollercoasters I can't ride anymore...the sacrifices of being too big!
They make exceptions on the weight limit! Especially if your in good shape. If your interrested Id just go talk to em!
Just ask the instructor how long it takes before you are back on the ground, their favorite answer is "if our chute opens or if it doesn't?"

Its a blast! My daughter and I went before she went in the Coast Guard....... Its hell on the ears though! I literally had to hold my nose and blow to get my ears to pop. We jumped from 15000ft

I thought maybe u would go for the blinged out four finger ring "GOTH" or if it were me I would want it spelled backwards. "HTOG" that way when hit something he's puttin the "Goth" stamp on it. You might want to think about the iced out four-finger ring a lil harder... Pretty cool?
