bilirubin count a little high??
ad
40 yrs old, 5'10", 204 lbs, 15% bf
Got my pre cycle bloods done and the doc says my bilirubin count was a touch high. I know bilirubin is basically dead red blood cells being eliminated from the body, but dont know why my count is high. Doc says its nothing to worry about, everything else is aces. But he doesnt know Im planning a test only cycle in a few weeks either. Any enlightening advice?
And if anybody wants to tell me Im full of shit, I can laugh at myself, ha ha, but please give some good feedback too.

What's a little high? and what type of bilirubin was it direct or indirect.. That makes a difference .. What were the rest if your liver numbers including ggt and alk phos ?
I didnt ask for exact numbers and he didnt say if it was direct or indirect. He said its nothing to worry about so I thought Id ask here just in case bcuz he doesnt know about me using aas. The rest of my liver counts wete normal. Good cholesterol a touch high and bad a touch low. He said I had the bloodwork of a man half my age and wondered what I was doing. Since I hadnt used aas in over 6 months I didnt figure he needed to know about them. But I take 50+ grams of powdered oats every day and lots of garlic. Im close to a paleo diet cuz Im a country boy and eat country boy food. Very little processed in my diet.
Ok cool.. Good to know all other numbers were good. Maybe it was a fluke .. Just get your regular bloods and keep doing what you ..
Cool, thank you brother. Gonna do bloods again mid cycle. Will research private labs here first cuz I dont want my doc to freak out when he sees my test level!
Lol! I don't blame you ..
Get into the SUN my friend! Sunlight breaks down bilirubin, so get outside with as much skin showing.
AnonI know this is an old post/thread but my bilirubin showed up as 2.2 last week and this post is great. I'm going to start going outside more so I can get this level lowered. Just in case you're curious or have time to take a look, my baseline bloods lab is here: http://www.eroids.com/pics/baseline-bloods-few-questions
Thanks again.

Ill be in the sun lots shortly and already have my milk thistle...
That's the right path. Keep us updated.
Will do. I dont do the beds, but its warming up here and getting sunny and Im always outside...
make milk thistle a staple from now on mate, get liv 52 and start taking daily aswell.
Awesome. Thanks bro!
you want- silbum marianum, standardised extract equivalent to dry fruit 7000mgs standard at a minimum, to contain flavanolignins, calculated as silybin (84mg).
take 4 a day as a staple, if your on cycle, take 6, especially if on any kind of oral, liv 52 is good aswell, just take the recommended dosage before bed, and also start eating beetroot mate, the canned stuff, eat it, then drink the juice, tip- beetroot and cheese on top of potato with a bit of sour cream is delicious.
stay away from alcohol and prescription medication also, especially paracetamol.
Wheres my fuckin pencil?!? Lol, seriously, thanks flash. I dont take any meds except prilosec, dont touch alcohol. Ill get the liver protec stuff, but I aint touchin anything to do with a beet!!! Projectile vomit!!!
pussy!! lol.
Man I dont get how so many people dont like beets. They're delicious. I peel em, cut them in half, brush with olive oil and bake at 400 degrees f for 400 minutes. Cut into 1cm cubes and put on top spinach salad with feta. Delicious.
Ever eat something when you were a kid and get really sick? And then even the smell years later makes you want to blow chunks? Well, thats me an beets brother. And sour cream and onion chips too.
Lmfao! Maybe... The smell of em sets my gag reflex in overdrive!!
