Alistair overeem performance

ad

What was you thoughts on the reems performance? I think it was a strategic plan he came with dont know why Dana blasted his performance when the reem called out Brock , Brock is wwe entertainer he can't keep up with the big boys of UFC ,
Any opinion

I think he has a better chance of staying competitive with the new breed of fighters like Cain, Dos Santos, etc if he stays slimmer. It was obvious last night that his cardio was a lot better as well as his speed . That being said I don't think he will ever be much more than a gatekeeper for the UFC. Iv been watching him and his brother fight since Pride days. There aren't that many relevant Pride era fighters left these days.

Because the UFC expects Alister to do what he used to do. Not to mention Dana was pissed the Alister's whole steroid usage got exposed when he joined the UFC. White doesn't want the bad publicity like baseball got while he is fighting to get it legalized instates like NY. So he is not currently happy with Alister and he at least expects him to preform like he used to. I am not saying this because I agree or disagree it is just what I have heard through people who are close to White.

He did good he was taking his time and picking his shots. His last two losses were a result of him blowing his load.

It seemed like he didn't want to be there from the beginning like he wasn't in the fight from the start.

did it seem like at the end he was toying with Mir a bit too. i think he couldve easily finished Mir in the last 2 minutes if he chose to. i like Mir but i think its time he hang it up. his performance last night was the worse ive seen from him, in a downward slope of bad fights for a fighter who has been around for a long time
