You all know of the deep and profound love (no homo) that ED and I have. Seriously, if he had been born with lady parts we'd be together living a love that would have songs written about it. Alas that is not the case, but still I must come to the defense of my poor friend who has been stricken by the cruel hands of fate.
I figured we'd need a new thread in order to properly catalog all the activities that are more manly than soccer (which let's face it is an arobisized version of tic-tac-toe). Have at it people, show ED your support.
BTW ED, if you had my baby, I never would have put him (or her) in soccer.

Come on dude, i have play soccer my entire life, and love, got several injuries and broken ankles as well as broken fibula twice. If you don't know how to play it, you don't know how much fun it can be. Soccer(Football) is one of those sports where skills are more important than be the strongest one or huge.

Absolute bullshit. I played soccer for years...and it is a serious game, the skill and technicality involved is larger than you would think. And anybody who seriously plays is probably in better shape than you and would run circles around your workouts.

Football people tackle each other all the time. Serious injuries in football occur every season with padding.
They have lots of injuries...they elbow, kick,etc....I dont like watching soccer so I am not sticking up for it and so I was suprised to hear how physicle it really was. And they are constantly contacting each other.
Football....run 5yards.....rest for two mins. Haaaaa! Soccor....run non stop for 45 before breaks

I played semi pro and just about every game was a fistfight including us and fans. Try running for 6hrs at just practice nonstop and then game day popping out fools teeth. Lol
