Today is a sad day as I am now 40.
I will for the foreseeable future be lying on my stats as they will remain at 39 for at least another year or two. Should anyone ask for my stats, I will, of course, also lie.
I woke up to a particularly nasty, spiteful text message from one of my staff at work that read simply "40. Lol"

I still find it humerus that when your younger all you want to be is an adult and once you reach adulthood you wanna turn the clocks back to be younger again. It's a vicious cycle...lol.....happy birthday cat!

Does it feel different? 30 didn't feel any different but by 34 I was forgetting how old I was. People would ask and I would have to think for a second. Don't picture it getting any better.

Honestly I would not want to be 21 again. its a lot.different now then it was 20 years ago. I would be looking to fist fight and end up getting shot since noone uses their fists anymore. 25 is a good age, in between a real man and getting your training wheels off you get to discover yourself.
Agreed. After my dui, the alcohol education class I wen to pointed out that the part of the brain responsible for reasoning, doesn't even fully develop until about 25. I don't want to go back to being in a mans body with a childlike sense of logic. Maybe 27-28 for me. Then again I'm only 34, and that's not too bad.
I'd agree with that, tough in your twenties trying to build up capital, buy a house etc, don't think I'd want to be that age again.

Its a serious problem bro especially where i live. Shots fired off in the clubs and shit, all of downtown is super routy when the bars lt out and theres always gun shots and shit. I'm not racist at all, but its only the black people who do this shit. Ive never been in a fight with a white person and had them pull out a knife or gun, or anyone i know. But Ive had multiple friends stabbed fighting black people.
I live in a very mixed race area. we have all races doing crazy shit against another. Although domestic abuse is big here, second place is black on black crime, third is drug related, and fourth is the thugs who think guns are tougher then fists. When I was in my 20's I was stabbed and whacked with pipes. When I was im my early 30's I got shot. Now I worry more for my wife then my own safety so it evens itself out.
