Yoga

ad

Yep that's right I said Yoga. Namaste and all that shit Smile

I took an advanced Yoga class this morning just to switch things up and I was pretty impressed with it. I was shocked when I worked up a good sweat, enough to have a few droplets hit the mat! I also learned that I am not flexible and my balance sucks. So I'm going to be doing this regularly, it by no means can replace lifting but it's a damn good addition IMHO. Plus some of those poses made my arms look INCREDIBLE lol Smile

Any of you ladies do yoga?

Yeah i also do Yoga in the morning. Yoga meditation is my favorite part in Yoga... I also did some Yoga exercise that reduce belly fat and my Thais fat too...

I'm a firm believer in yoga! I usually try to do a few yoga strectches everyday to help keep me limber and help with balance, but I do a hot yoga class once a week. It's hot as hell, but so refreshing to sweat it out! The more you practice, the better your balance gets! So just keep doing it!

I have done Yoga on and off for about twenty years .. I wouldn't trade it for anything .. the breathing and stretching translate into every day real world applications and greatly reduce stress levels.

I'm going to try to hit one class a week. I was impressed, and I'll be happy when I can fold myself in half like the instructor did lol

I don't have the balance for it, I kept falling over which made me giggle. I think the other ladies thought I was on something.

never tried yoga...i was told to try it due to an old back injury but never did. i've heard its a wonderful stretch but be mindful of that stretch the very next day when you go to weight training. overstretching can actually make the muscle even more loose and not as strong. thats why most athletes are trained to stretch while moving like when they move their arms in a circle to stretch the shoulder out before a workout instead of stretching in one position and holding it.

This class was fairly athletic, there was a lot of jumping the instructor called it tabling but really it was a modified burpee. I need the help stretching, I do not do it enough.

I've never tried yoga but I've thought about it. I am far from flexible and I'm not getting any younger for sure lol!

Try it, you might like it. I was really surprised.
