just curios on if taking birth control while taking var is a bad idea? if you know or have done it please let me know. I just started my cycle and my man is also on test so I know that's kinda like a male birth control.

I have been on B/C since I was 15 and started Var 9mo ago. The only thing I have noticed is I don't get a period any more. Before Var I only got my period 4 times a year because I took the B/C back to back.
I'm on birth control and have done a few cycles and still got great results!
What birth control pill you are taking with var? My wife was on Dostinex 0.5mg for last 4 years and have not suffered any kind of side effects apart from a slight weight gain which does not make her look or count her into fat people category. I don't think so anything bad will happen but consulting a doctor before taking any medication is the best way to go.
Vewiyou won't get max results from the cycle because you're introducing hormones that are driving opposing effects. But if you are not a competitor, and not willing to go off the B/C for the duration of the AAS cycle, you can run the two together. They don't "interact" or "neutralize" each other - they simple promote what each of the individual hormones do, but at the same time.
the effects of bc on aas is negligable ... and as you pointed out she isn't competing so it really is a non issue
