Anavar and thyroid

ad

Hi
I am about to start my first cycle. I have hypothyroidism and I'm wondering what it may do to my t3 t4 levels. I am on armor thyroid. I just got blood work and thyroid levels are normal with meds. All other blood work came back normal as well.
I am also wondering about just toning with var not bulking. I mainly do classes at the gym (full body toning and cross training) 4 days a week and spin 2. Should I tweak it and do more weights? Less cardio?
The more I read the more confused I get...
I am 30
5'5
135 lbs
And about 24% b/f
Diet is clean
Eggs, lean meat, veggies, berries, brown rice, quinoa plant based organic protein, nut butters, coconut oil, olive oil...

I'm about to start an Anavar cycle. So, disclaimer because I haven't done it before, but Anavar is said to encourage fat loss through a number of different metabolic pathways. Take your creatine also, because creatine is a crucial point in the process of Anavar's function, and you will by extension lose more fat if you use correctly (look it up). There's all sorts of reasons that it can be effective in trimming the waistline, especially if you're at or below maintenance Calories. If you have no idea what that last part means, you need to determine how much you should be eating for your current fitness, calorie expenditure, weight, and fat loss goals. that's simpler than it sounds though, there are web sites where you input that information and out pops your number, along with some easy macro's. caloric/ macronutrient intake could be an issue with this cycle, along with dosage, which you should probably have researched already. 'big and thick' could sort of result from levels of anavar circulating in your system that are too high, along with poor diet, training, and excess calorie intake. but you've still got to factor in that anavar only builds a little bit of muscle compared to other steroids so you shouldn't be THAT big or thick. could be diferent if you're a lady though. in that case, keep your dosage on the LOW end of recommended and see how it works for you.

one other issue is that anavar might kill you in the spin class if you're prone to back pumps? you should look this up as I'm not an expert here. But they say shin and back pumps will come out of nowhere with anavar and they can be intense.

overall, do your research, and I don't think there's any reason to be discouraged. might not be the same story if you were doing testosterone or some other steroid, but anavar is really extremely versatile in considering a wide variation of fitness goals. good luck!

Thank you nova11
I have seen ppl with 25% bf get great results on var.
Research can be overwhelming. Each time i think i found good info i read somethig with someone saying otherwise. so I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row.
Good luck to you as well Smile

as far as your thyroid anavar shouldn't interfere with the medication or thyroid function at all...

wondering about just toning with var

anavar is made for adding muscle ... don't waste your money to just 'tone' not to mention the side efffects of injesting an anabolic steriod 'just to tone'

at 24% bf you wont see much in the way of 'toning' anyway.. you will get thicker and heavier .... which is really going to be an issue if you are one of those gals who think that the number on the scale is everything

anavar is about adding muscle mass, particularly for women .... it can be used as a finisher for those competing however, it is used for strength building and adding mass not fat loss and toning up.
to be honest, toning up really shouldn't be in your vocabulary if you are considering anabolic steriods

I'm not looking for a magic pill or easy way out. I work really hard and I'm just not getting the results I'd like to see.
Hypothyroidism is a bitch...
Although blood work is normal with meds the symptoms still consume my life.
Headaches, tiredness, difficulty building muscle, difficulty cutting bf ect...

I m running 180mcg of armour thyroid ... prescribed and monitored by a doctor. It does not define what you can and cannot do

you lose weight and gain muscle through diet rest and training ... if you are stagnating then change one of the three

Thank you for your help
Maybe you can give some diet and training suggestions.
-Breakfast: is 3 eggs
-After the gym: protein shake with banana, spinach and flaxseed
-lunch: a lean meat brown rice and a veggie (today was chicken kale and onion
-snack: green Apple with peanut butter
Dinner: lean meat sweet potato (or another carb brown rice or quinoa) And a veggie
And I usually have a hand full of berries mixed in there somewhere

Training is 5-6 days a week
Usually total body sculpting classes and spin
And piyo once a week

Are there suppliments you would recommend to help build muscle and cut body fat?
I'm OK with my size and I'm OK with being thicker.
Not obsessed with the number in the scale either. I'd like to get bf to 20% muscular and defined but not bulky
