well I watch my guy on here everyday. so i figured i would join too.
Until about 6 weeks ago i spent 5-6 days a week in the gym with another forum member mwagner630 who is my other half. I am a cancer survivor, I had developed adhesions over the years that bound my intestines and colon which were a result of chemo and radiation treatment and multiple surgeries for my cancer im told. I have been cancer free for a few years now. but during my routine surgery in early january of this year to rid me of the adhesion. the surgeon cut my small intestine and my colon. I awoke from surgery in AGONY, all they did was dope me up for four days till it was time for me to be released. my white blood count was crazy high, still sent me home, less than an hour after coming home i was rushed by ambulance to another "BETTER" nearby hospital to find i was septic and near death. i was in emergency surgery within the hour of arriving at the hospital. I dont remember the next 2 weeks, i was in a coma and unable to breathe on my own. i now have an osotomy and my life has been forever changed. i want to get back in shape. while in the hospital I lost over 30 pounds and all my muscle mass. before surgery i was 135 amazing pounds at 5'10" and about 10% body fat. which i guess is amazing for a woman. i have a great man who stands beside me strong and we have great kids we are raising together as a family. with all this crap i still consider myself lucky. I just to get back in shape.
oh i just celebrated my 28th birthday.
