+ 3 Great to be here!
Hi everyone,
(sorry for the new introduction post, it seems my last one was deleted)
I am 28 years old, and quite new to gear but used to fitness. I began my gear journey about 4 months ago, following what was the most difficult year and a half of my life; unfortunately, I had quite a bad motorcycle accident that resulted in 4 broken bones and two torn ligaments in my right wrist. The ligament damage required surgical intervention, and that is where the real rollercoaster began; after the first surgery, I got a post operative, antibiotic resistant MRSA infection that ate all the cartilage in my wrist and part of my dorsal nerve. Needless to say, I was in the ICU for two weeks, had to have emergency surgery, and then a third surgery to do a full wrist fusion.
Recovery was incredibly hard. Between the opiate pain medication, the lack of activity due to needed recovery time and the depression from facing a lifelong disability, I gained 20kg (107 kg at my heaviest; I am 190cm). As I am a US Army vet, I have always been in pretty good shape, so I was very unhappy with how I looked, how I felt, and the state I was in, all-around.
I finally got some blood work done, and my free testosterone was incredibly low for my age, only 2.9 ng/dl, meaning my endocrinological system was wrecked, probably from the incredibly high doses of opiate and other assorted pain killers I had taken for 1.5 years. However, TRT at my age, in my country, is not really done (or is extremely controlled and monitored with less effective application methods).
So, knowing what at least one of my problems was, 4 months ago I got on Testosterone Propionate. I started at quite a normal TRT dose, about 125mg weekly, but I noticed that while I felt better, at the same time, there were some peaks and valleys in my energy. So, I added Testosterone Enth to the mix. I now apply 210mg weekly mixed between Test Prop and Test Enth, 30mg daily. I also take MK-667 (20mg daily), BPC-157, TB-4 Fragment, and a host of other supplements from the local store.
Overall, I feel much more like myself, pre-accident and aftermath. I am going to the gym 4 days per week and walking long distances on my rest days, I am gaining strength and have lost 17kg, and my diet is dialed in. I feel like have really started to recover and am discovering the path to my dream physique, even with this new disability and its limitations.
I am very happy to be a part of this forum. My goal is to learn as much as possible to make my journey as health-conscious as possible and to hopefully, one day, be able to help someone else with the experience that I have gained if they are faced with a similar situation and traditional treatments have failed.
Thanks for letting me a be a part of this community.
Regards,
