You are what you eat
I've been away for a bit but I have always kept up with eroids, so I'm gonna be putting together my first REAL cycle in years. Those of y'all that know me know I over came some pretty decent sized obstacles to get to where I was. Started off at 127 lbs then ended at 195 lbs. I've tried many different paths in putting together the right diet for me. I've focused on protein intake I've focused on eating patterns, I've tried different proteins and weight gainers. I've listened to trainers advice at my gym. What I learned over the years is EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. my success came from focusing strictly on my calorie intake. As we all know to get BIG you got to eat BIG! Yogurt and muscle milk weight gainer helped me the most. I always had a hard time eating when I first woke up and breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Oatmeal, yogurt and boiled eggs was an every day start for years. Now I've got to get back on track finding that routine again. Allot of things have changed in my life since I've cycled last.... Almost the whole eroids community has changed as well. Any recommendations on a good high calorie diet for someone that's dealt with muscle wasting the majority of their life?

i prefer to up the fats when eating a higher cal diet... to many carbs for to long and i look “sloppy “...fattier cuts of beef and pork are my go to....
However, after reading below, some bbq goat cooked in a dark cave with a goat milk chaser prepared by Greg just may be the ticket!
I've got maybe 8 percent body fat naturally.... The lil sloppy look I like lol... But seriously I was happy with how I looked at 195.... That's the biggest I've ever been. If you look at my before and after pics from a few years back I was quite happy with my after results lol. I was used to go thru at least two 700 calorie tubs of yogurt a day. That was my secret weapon
Damn bro... thats alot of yogurt!...my old ass would be a walking squirt bottle if i ate that lol
8% bf is a great place to start a big bulk diet.....
So you find extra fats rather than carbs are the way to go for extra weight do you pal? What other foods do you recommend other than cuts of meat...
My buddy in work literally does shots of olive oil on a bulk. Just gotta make sure if you do that you up ur fish oil intake so you don’t have a bad omega 6/3 ratio. Could cause unwanted inflammation.
Why yes i do pal....egg yolks, almonds, peanut butter, evoo added to a protein shake, bacon, salmon, add a tablespoon of real butter to oatmeal.....
I didnt say add fats INSTEAD of carbs either.... i said when I eat high carbs for a long period of time i tend to look sloppy so ill back off on carbs a bit and up the fats to keep the cals up
Edit.... whole milk, added cheese to meals will add up the cals quick....at 9 cals per g of fat, adding 3-4-or 500extra cals a day is somewhat easy to achive.....obviously there is a point to where to high of fats for to long will cause issues also so finding that cutoff/ balance between the c/p/f ratio can be trail and error till you find your own balance
Higher fat is all they talk about now adays. Thats how im gona do it this winter. Olive oil on every meal but my red meat meals,
Olive oil , advocado in my eggs. Peanut butter straigh off the spoon
That’s how i start my day. PB is my coffee lol
I'm a walking Thai Food restaurant, and I have Syntha 6 containers for shoes.
By the way 99%ground turkey and Jazmine rice is my secret! Every two hours! ;) with a little mustard. Sooo good!
So you’re calling me a female reproductive organ? Ouch!
TrenDaddyi am a whole lot of beef then. Vegetarians must hate me
Sweet chilli Salmon & rice has been a good combo for me
Sounds good post the recipe..
260grams salmon 100-150grams golden rice with blue dragon sweet chilli sauce
Wow, man, you're a community veteran. Welcome back!
I confirm that we all have a different body and metabolism and that means different genetics.
Certainly diet and good nutrition is the key to our success.
A little depends on the goals, if you want to be well all year round and what gear you want to use. Based on this, you choose your diet.
However, you have to choose a program and be determined.
It's not easy to eat every day, or almost every day, the same thing.
Yeah when I started here Greg was still wet behind the ears milking goats in the man cave... We never judged lol... Don't say nothing to him about it though I think he's still in denial
I only milked the female goats and deny everything else... It was dark in that cave... that is, i mean, what happened in the cave, stays in the cave... what can I say, I love hanging titties... That is until Joe BBQed the last of my goats in 2013... he dosn't dare show his face around here anymore... I'd take him behind... Am I rambling? I sound like Joe Biden right now... record player.
I miss my goats... no homo.
We had female goats too??? LMFAO
ISIS said that about their goats too.
Hey we're not judging here my friend, only if tread could see us now... And hey your not doing too bad, we thought you would still be upset about what happened to your goats I mean when your goats ran away... At least that's the rumor... But as you said what happens in the cave.... How many from the old Crews still here? I see pale still kicking
those goats ended up at a bbq with JoeD after they went for a ride in the Eroids van...
Omfg can't believe you still here!!! Goth must be still around too! The ol eroids van.... Did y'all start an senior citizen escort service around this beeeaaatch ....
shush with the senior talk ... none one knows how old we really are ;-)
Sir Pale is sitting on the roof with his rifle pointed, always ready to land someone. lol
Thanks homie I'm glad to be back, I just want to be thick again. I've dealt with natural test def for a long time now. I'm no where near where I use to be when I was cycling before... But I'm ready for my come back tour
Patience, friend, the muscle has a good memory. You'll see that it will immediately recognize the point where you left it.
True story!!! Nothing like muscle memory except muscle memory with a slight push of synthetic testosterone to back them up... But fr I am a firm believer of muscle memory... I've seen it many times over again
I'm not really sure if I believe in all that, I still think a muscle can only grow at a certain rate given optimal rest and nutrition and not suddenly 'jump' back quickly to a remembered size or strength. I think its merely down to having trained before, you know exactly how to train a muscle and maximise an exercise also more efficiently. You also know how to eat for optimal recovery and not get in an over trained state rather than when you were once a beginner.
Thanks, man, for reminding us. If it hadn't been for this comment I would have thrown away all the rest of my years without any goal. lol.
People with goals aren't permanently stoned.
I used to be the same way not wanting to eat when i first woke up.. you know what changed ?since i joined the ebc Ive been waking up an hour earlier monday - friday and it gives my body time to wake up and inget that meal in now. And its something i have kept up with. If you want it bad enough YOU GOTTA JUST DO THE WORK...
Another thing that might help is to definetly start the diets acouple weeks before you start the cycle to give your body the time to get used to the extra food. Goodluck man i cant wait to you at the finish line
The ebc will do it, I'm not sure why it doesn't show but I was in the first ebc years and years ago, as I recall I was in the top 3..... My trick to eating was getting up an hour earlier than normal which sucks but it helped create an appetite. Plus eating the same times every day helps activate your body's natural alarm so it helps creates that appetite
Bagels and jam and whole milk...ramen (not top ramen but the good shit)...half gallon of milk is 1280 cals, pack of ramen is like 700 cals, couple bagels and few tablespoons of jam is 700-800 cals
I think it would be better to trade the bagels
In for pototoes that have proven many micronutrients..
I have tried a daves bagel and there good but to filling where i find potatoes and rice i can eat more often
Talking about total calories here...plain bagels and white rice don’t digest that differently. As far as easier to eat/frequency you hVe to eat 10oz potato to get the same carbs as one bagel.
I love bagels and cream cheese so that helps out alot thanks homie
Boom...didn’t even think about cream cheese bc I’ve been trying to pack more carbs than fat but that’s even better
Complex carbs, complex carbs and more complex carbs from good sources. Mixed in with high quality protein and a good exercise routine that right for you and you should be on your way.
x2 I've always found heavy carbs the way forward when gaining weight rather than calories, plus protein obv
