+ 2 Having a massive weight gain in a short period of time
I am 31 years old now, Im not as old as some of you but im not young either, I feel pains now I never felt in my 20's. I know this is only to get worse. I get a pain in my lower back now that I have never felt before, Its from leaning over putting car parts in boxes all day. I can say now that I have a better sence of judgement than I did when I was younger. I make more mature choices and ive learned research is the key to perfecting anything. When I started back using steroids I was a measley 127lbs, I had a problem with muscle waisting due to having TD. I started out at low doses of test cyp combined with proper training I believe it brought my weight up to where it would have been if i had normal test levels. I added deca to the equasion as I ran 2 mini cycles concurrently. I am no expert by no means but I do feel like I have quite a bit of knowledge to teach others how to mass gain. I have gained a tremendous amout of strength compared to where I started. What I have learned is its all about being commited to accomplishing what you want. If you think for one second you that its just gonna be given to you when your half ass trying then your in store for great disappointment, everyone is different, I cant workout like someone who has no problem gaining weight. I have to becareful of burning to many calories, so I limit my workouts to 45-60min sessions. But during that time period I get as much in as possible, lifting as heavy as my body will allow, failure is a plus, if you are giving it 110% and you fail to get up that last rep that is what tells your body to rebuild that muscle stronger. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I know we are all driven to push as hard as we can but going to the gym to much will cause alot of disappointment if your trying to mass build. this doesnt neccesarily apply to those who are cutting down or trying to lose weight. EAT!!! if you want to grow you have to eat!! you cant just eat here and there and expect to build muscle. Some of you blame the gear as if its the gears fault your not getting the results you hoped for and your not eating like you should be. I dont care what gear your on, if you aint eatting right then you are waisting alot of money buying gear. I know everyone has their own experiences and different strokes for different folks but the principles is the same. Its time to quit playing around and take this seriously if you are using gear, for those of you that arent getting those results you thought and are argueing with guys who have been doing this 25 years because you read a article and think you know everything, its time to zip it and listen. Im not bragging but theres a reason I got to where I am now and that by listening to what people like tread and goth have to say, Im not anything special but I do fel as if Ive come a long way from where I use to be. If any of you are hard gainers and need some advice and are ready to listen im here for ya, I can get you started, the rest is totally on you.

Great post man. I have told people this over and over to people that want to jump on gear. I started when I knew for sure I hit my genetic limit. There are so many people that want to jump on gear right away that train like pussies and don't eat half the calories they need.
Too many people think gear is a magical cure-all for getting the results they want.
It really just grinds my gears on how many dumbasses there are that don't educate themselves and don't have the drive and discipline to put in the work.
(I've even had some of my friends, that are like the people I described tell me that getting hammered drunk 3 times a week wont hurt you in the gym)
sorry to get carried away with this but some people just piss me off.
phil113kgI agree on laying the foundation and reaching the genetic potential before using. I trained for 23or 24 years without the gear and saw how I needed the enhancements to push pass my genetic limitation. So jumping on it with just one or two years into working out is not wise and unhealthy. I see this at my gym everyday, kids walking around bloated from D-ball thinking that they are on to something.
we must go to the same gym lol, i see kids at my gym as well flexing in front of the mirro and walking around like they cant fit thru the door because they just benched with weights on the bar for the 1st time
education is everything, youve gotta be able to crawl before you walk, walking to soon can mess up your footing, its all about following the steps to successful growth
if that makes sence
good post bro,you got your head set right stay in that mode and you will do nothing but progress, slow and steady is the way forward your gains will last longer and your mind will stay focused cos your not fucking yourself up all the time, you are on the right track bro you gonna be a monster in no time.
nose to the wheel man day in day out cannot fail to move forward....
thanks man, I cant begin to give credit for how inspiring this web site has been to me, If it wasnt for BFG taking his personal time to create such a place we can all come together and learn from each other then alot of us would still be in the dark.
Nice post Pope and good of you to offer your knowledge to help others benefit from it
well if it wasnt for members like you I wouldnt know have of what I know now, your more than just a great source brother, youve been a great friend to me thru all of this. keep on doing what you do, thats what makes you the best.
beavisI remember when you first came on here pope, and you had asked me a question or two, and maybe a couple of pm's and helped if I could as I am not comfortable giving advice due to my lack of experience, I too have gained a grip of knowledge since coming here, man was I blind to ALOT before eroids, but anyway brohan I would feel safe asking for your advice anytime. Nice Novel..hmm.. I mean great post man!
good write up pope. I agree with you, people will get better results with PROPER diet, training, and rest both on and off cycle. When I first started lifting I was like most newbs and thought if I work out all the time 7 days a week 3hrs+ I would get huge, WRONG. You just burn off too many calories and break down muscles beyond what can be repaired within a few days. Anything more than 45 mins to an hr 5 days a week is overtraining. Most people don't relize how important a proper high calorie diet is for gaining mass. It took me a long time to figure these things out on my own and when I did, I blew up.
LOL...I don't know Pope----I may not be a very good person to listen to these days. lol
homie i look at it like this, Ive known you for long enough to know you do your research, I am not saying im gonna jump on the band wagon and inject 5000mgs of test in my body at once, but you have been building for alot longer than I have and if you feel like youve done your research and think its safe to take that plunge, then by all mean take a couple thousand mgs for me too.
Aside from your repetitive motion at work you may be getting the infamous lower back pump (LBP) that affects many. I fucking hate lower back pumps.
Especially true of Anavar!
Hows the veyron var working for ya?
tread-mPatience...thats the Pope and thats the answer, you are something special brother because you do that day in and day out shit that the newer I want everything right now cuz my Mommy said so crowd does not get and probably never will! A day at a time brother!
