will gear filter through whatman filters?

Just wondering if gear will filter using 10cc syringe / whatman 0.20um filter and if so the protocol. pull through filter into syringe, or push out of syringe into vial. Looking to filter relatively long ester, put in new sterile vial.

Yes it will. Just keep an extra 2ml of the oil of your choice for the end. If not you'll lose 2ml of gear. I used to run every UGL through a whatman
Thanks for that tip! at $125 a bottle that 2ml would have add up filtering 3 or 4 of them. Didn't even think of that. I need to do some serious homework on the subject as I have never shopped for oil before but if there are any recommendations on type I would appreciate it so I don't get myself sick. How to sterilize it, with BA? other questions like that I've never thought of. I also may dilute further hoping a less concentrated version will reduce pip as so many internet rumors state it will. Any assistance appreciated, links, pm, etc. Got the cycle on hold until pip clears up and I have a new site to use. sciatica in the other leg is keeping that side out of play.
I've read about ethyle oleate causing allergic reactions in some and I'm a little concerned about that being the actual culprit. swelling 6" below the thigh site, 2" below the hip site. does anyone know if the big popular bro's stuff has it? read about some of his gear containing Guaiacol, and don't know if that causes problems.

if thier is ethyle oleate in the gear you should change the .20 filter every 20 to 30ml cuase it destroys the filter. dont know if that helps. it might also help to warm the oil first in a pan of hot water then sqeeze the syringe,
It might flow a little better if slightly warmed.
I've just pulled it into the 10cc syringe then put on the filter and press it into the new sterile vial. Not excatly sure if that's how you do it but that's what I do with mine
