Why Aas?

ad

Ok I'm new here, and I am writing this with the utmost respect in an attempt to understand..

Why in the hell are some of you using gear? I see people on here that look like have never lifted a weight in their life talking about how they have done five and six cycles. Honestly with the apparent shape some of these people are in, I cannot understand how they have even done one cycle. Look I'm not saying I have a great physique, hell I wouldn't even consider it mediocre, but at least I have a solid build and the ability to move some wight around. Which brings me to my next point, I saw a thread recently where someone was excited to have just dead lifted 365 or something like that.. What in the hell are you using AAS for?! And if you've been using gear for a while, what are you doing in the gym???

I just don't understand guys, I I hope nobody takes offense to this.

I have not run a cycle and I don't take supps (ok maybe the after lift protein shake and some sugar) either. Diet is just on point and i TRAIN 4 days a week.

I look through all of these first cycle logs and most of them show little to no results.. Wtf?? Is it even worth it for me? I have to imagine it would be, as I have achieved what I have achieved with low natty test levels. Some of you must just be doing something royally incorrect...

Ask me again when you're a little older... say about 30 years older.

Assuming that all you talk about is about being BIG. But remember not everyone here are gym rats trying to get swole. Some of us are athletes trying to improve Speed, strength, endurance or whatever you name it. So your statement is only valid for a certain group. Which i dislike a bit is how you GENERALIZE. Second thing you need to keep in mind is GENETICS. Not all of us were 200 pounds 6'2 before we graduate HighSchool. Good luck and by the way strength is also determined by genetics, peace.

Cuz,
You should respect people equally. It is offensive to judge others choices in life when you have not walked in their shoes or know where they came from. I dont care what you look like its all about willingness to improve. And for alot of people 365 lbs might be alot and impressive for that paticular person. The only people that should be slow to use roids are people that are immature with closed minds so they dont hurt themselves...

Many people are on them for health reasons, others for athletic enhancement, others under the hope it will make them more confident aggressive an look better and others because they are stupid. I think that covers them all.

Which brings me to my next point, I saw a thread recently where someone was excited to have just dead lifted 365 or something like that.. What in the hell are you using AAS for?! And if you've been using gear for a while, what are you doing in the gym???

This above comment I don't get. Maybe they were injured before and that is a all time best for them. But either way what makes you the aas regulator, no offense meant but seriously. It is like saying why do people kill, or why do politicians lie. For multiple reasons, see people should have the freedom to do what they want and live with the consequences good or bad. Other must decide whether they want to participate in that person's choices or not.

I have never been addicted to alcohol or narcotics but you what I wouldn't say is I don't know why people do this to themselves? The answer is no shit you don't know why because it isn't relevant currently to my life. On the other hand you are still very young and naive to life, you may ask this question today WTF are people taking steroids for??? And be the guy tomorrow who is one of them, and someone may say your reasoning is bullshit. You may say I know I won't be like others, I will reply if that is what you think then you have validated my statement of being naive.

Some just take a shitload of steroids because it makes them feel more secure to do so. Like others who have to drink you get up the courage for certain endeavors. I am not insulting you here just stating the facts to answer your questions.

Ask yourself one last question; "Why are you so bothered by this?" It is not like you care about these people because you have not reached out to them to offer sound advice. So the only thing left is a personal frustration and a temptation that you seem to be struggling with but that is a pure guess on my part brother.

(sigh) Another 23 yr old...

Pank, you did an excellent job covering this one. I have come down hard on posts like this enough for one week. Thanks!

Oh come on now I never said I was Adonis! I even went as far to say that I don't have a great physique lol. Thank you guys for the solid answers.

I want to reiterate the fact that I am not passing judgement on anyone! I do plan to cycle in due time. I'm fairly well versed on hormones and usage. And per my intro I do get bloods run a couple of times per year.

The confusion set in when I see multiple posts from veteran and clearly experienced members to others who are wanting to do their first cycle, saying they should not cycle based basically on exactly what I asked about above, ie lifts too low, bf too high etc. and then I see some people on here who have run multiple cycles with lower lifts and less impressive physiques who receive praise and/ Or no criticism.

My goal is not to compete, or be on stage. I couldn't compare with those guys. The reason I have considered Aas is a curiosity, a curiosity of what lifting with normal to high range test would allow me to accomplish! I range in the low 300s consistently for the last couple of years.

To those of you I have apparently offended, please try to understand that was not my intention in any way whatsoever. This does not seem to be the place to have thin skin, and it would seem I have struck a nerve with a handful of you.
