This ever happen to anyone?

ad

Had my girl inject my Glute yesterday. Procedure was proper, hit the right spot, aspirated and all was good. As she hit the plunger I could actually feel the oil going in which was weird, then I got tunnel vision. Next thing I know I'm on my back on the coffee table asking her why she pushed me lol.

Apparently I told her to stop a couple times and then feinted, luckily she was quick enough to pull the needle out. I guess I fell pretty hard too. When I woke up I was cold and sweating like a pig, felt like garbage the rest of the day too.

Don't worry, I didn't wast the oil, I put the rest in my quad. I guess she only got about .3 cc in my glute.

Any ideas as to what may have caused this? I've never feinted before, definitely not something is like to experience again.

You are describing a vaso-vagal response. It is a benign response to emotional stress. More info:

This shit happened to me bro, not only did I fall out but I hit the corner of my counter with my fucking head and starting having like a fucking seizure where I felt I was stuck in a moment, craziest shit in my life..Ever since that I lay down to shoot my glutes, fuck standing up. be safe homie!

I had pretty much the same thing happen on my first 2 injections. First I tried the glute, got the pin in and got maybe .2cc before I started getting a massive rush and blacking out, sweating like crazy. I didnt actually faint, but got pretty close. I was standing for that. I took about 15 or 20 mins to regain my composure, put a new pin on and decided to sit down and try the quad. I got the rest in, but as I was finishing same thing -- massive rush, tunnel vision, profuse sweating etc. It only happened on those first 2 pins tho so I think it was just nerves.

If youre having someone pin for you just aspirate once you peirce the skin and keep aspirating until its all the way in.. I do this with my quads and it helps me catch if I pass a vein that otherwise wouldnt show blood if I only aspirated with the needle completely in

Next time lay down on your stomach and have her pin your glute. You prolly nicked a vein or nerve. Its easy to mess up with quads, thats why I do glutes. Is it red and swollen? How do you feel today?

MrDizzle's picture

It was my glute that got messed up not quad. I like shooting in the quad, nice and easy, that's actually where I put the rest of the oil after I fainted from the glute shot.

I normally handle my own shots, but I can't reach my glutes at all, so she had to do it.

Glute feels fine today no PIP or anything. I feel fine as well, maybe a little more tired than usual..

It also might be an rapid increase of Bp, were you standing up?

MrDizzle's picture

Yes actually I was...

You know what else is interesting is when I was at Wally World last night I checked my BP and the first time ( right when I at down ) it was 157/ 73, which is I guess kind of high.
I checked it again to make sure and it dropped to 127/ 63.. Any input here guys? I don't know much about blood pressure.

WINNING's picture

157/ 73 is hypertension. 127/ 63.. is a normal ideal blood pressure.

Any idea why it would fluctuate like that over such a short period of time?

Pale's picture

If your bicep is bigger than 15" that sit down machine will not read accurate and usually way high.

MrDizzle's picture

Well that explains it haha I could barely get my arm in the damn thing

Helius's picture

Blood pressure machines tend to be inaccurate and fluctuates, get someone to take it manually to be sure. When i take my BP with a machine it usually reads high but when i get someone to take it manually, its always normal.

First cycle? How many times gave you injected before? Could just be a case of you being a massive pansie!

MrDizzle's picture

Yes first cycle, this was 5th inject. I love injecting though, I look forward to it and can't wait to jab myself with that needle, so the pansy thing doesn't really hold up.

GrowMore's picture

Sorry I was only pulling your leg. Many people on their first few runs concentrate on the injection too much and make themselves faint. You could of well hit a vein like lifter said, I thought I'd add another opinion though.

MrDizzle's picture

Oh it's all good brother, no offense taken. Needles just don't bother me, never have actually, it kind of freaked out my mom and nurses when I insisted on watching every shot or withdrawal of blood as a child.

If I had hit a vein wouldn't there have been blood in the syringe upon aspirating? Who knows maybe she didn't have the needle in all the way when she aspirated, and then pushed it in more..?
