+ 1 who can you trust?
strangers!(note that its plural) actually lemme rephrase that, strangers with nothing to gain by burning you. dont trust your source cause no matter what they say they are a dude selling an illegal product online for a profit. money is there motivation. your best friends on this site are the strangers making genuine honest reviews of the gear and sources. this community is a great tool of defense against getting burnt if you can use it properly. you gotta weed out the nonsense and be able to tell when some one has ulterior motives. joe shmoe from idaho does not make a single penny buy posting an honest review. MAYBE he'll get a rep point. so why on earth would he lie? sources and sources reps and full fledged scammers are whos gunna lie to you. my father always told me "believe nothing you here and only half of what you see" well unfortunately i dont think i can even believe half of the trash i see now adays. so your best bet is to take in as much info about a source, good/bad/etc, weed out anything the source or any of its affiliates or competitor sources say, and then weed out any nay sayer douche with negative rep points who thinks the only legit gear in the world is his homebrew from fina and his fake organon amps. and what you should have left is a bunch of whole hearted honest reviews from people just like you who want good gear and dont mind helping a fellow "juicebox" out. it shouldnt be to hard to figure out if a source is g2g from these. and if ur having trouble deciding if its a safe source..... ITS PROB NOT!! its like love bromigo! hen u find the right source... ooo you'll know ;-)

56tooI rely heavily on my intuition. I guess at my age you start developing a knack for reading between the lines. One can usually tell after the first couple of sentences if the person is spewing truth or shit. As someone said previously 'if you don't take risks you'll never get anywhere'. I personally like the " screw me once, your fault. Screw me twice, my fault. I think I have found tha generally humans are good most of the time and mean well
The young ones don't get that. ...........LOL.,.....they will in 20 or 30 years.
The main thing is to use common sense and you gut feeling.
I had to read this because of the name hamburglar and who can you trust. I gotta go hide my big macs' lol.
halmburglar13You got that damn right! Hide yo kids! Hide yo wife!
"And hide your husband too cause they raping everybody out hear" bahaha
I find it funny how many people believe everything they read on the internet as truth.
If I told you that as a source (and I'm not!!) that XYZ Labs had put the Testosterone E I'm selling in special brown vials just for me, a lot of people would believe it. When just as likely, XYZ Labs had no part in the Testosterone at all. But it makes a good story. But why would a lab differ it's trade mark so it could be more easily counterfit,..........I think not. You need to be able to read between the lines of the BULLSHIT and ask yourself "why would they do that?" .
tread-mI think if you have people spending time talking about your family or your personal interests and you share with them and they trust you over time you know you can trust their opinion. A rep won't take the time to get to know you and have countless conversations never mentioning gear once. You get a few of those good friends as I have and you know if they tell you they found some good gear its probably good.
I find so many people who are so suspect about everything they never take the time to get to know anyone. Its hard to trust someone if you yourself run around with your guard up and are scared to death to be vulnerable. When I find someone vulnerable and willing to trust you after having shown their guard is down then I trust them. Your lesson from your Dad reminds me of one from my Dad. He would say "If you find someone that trusts nobody, you can't trust him, get away from him". So yes there is a fine line between safe and trusting but there is also a fine line between distrust and paranoia. There is a healthy amount of paranoia and I try not to cross the healthy amount line knowing I have to be a little vulnerable to succeed. I get burned now and then but if its that or trust nobody then its that.
It kind of insults me at times when I open up to someone and they never open up to me. Makes me wonder what they have to hide. Maybe nothing, but where there is doubt there can't be trust since doubt is the lack of trust right? Have a healthy dose of parania but also realize, as you said, there are a lot of good people here and sometimes to find them you have to be a "little " vulnerable. I have 10 people here that I trust a great deal and if it means I have to get burned by one of them or insult the other 9, burned it is.
These are very wise words! Many people view vulnerability as a weakness. Many fear it, and believe they will get hurt or screwed over. The truth is people who learn to be vulnerable end up with the most rewarding relationships. I don't know if you've heard of the website TedTalks, but there is a video by Brene Brown about Vulnerability. It's really good. I watched it last summer when I did a Covey workshop on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It really made an impact on how I began to see myself and others around me.
AnonYou cannot make gains in anything without taking a risk. If you take no risks you will never grow as a human being.
Trust is also something that is NOT earned in the first 5 minutes online or because they called you Bro. Trusts takes time to develop and is something that is not shared with everyone you meet online or in the real world.
halmburglar13very wise words. and i also find it ironic u replied because i lliterally have ben reading a shit-ton of posts by you today hahah "guru" seems to be a well fitting title for you. and i agree you gotta open up to people for sure. ive met complete strangers on here that i talk to now just about every day, i dont talk to some of my own family every day. my post was more towards people with there heads up their ass's beleiveing everything that every source tells them. when really their best friend is the stranger in the same boots as them ya know? i deffinetly encourage making friends on this forum. their are more genuine people on this forum than any other that ive seen! hands down. i just wish some people were a little less niave and would just do the necesary homework and mingling necesary to know whats what, whos who, whos scamming who, and to never take and oral only cycle. lol
tread-mNo I got the point of your post for sure. Its as KMC says above even, people believe anything they read and I know your post is directed at those people more than anything. Hell I don't trust a single study I find by major Universities unless I can follow the monry trail to see if agenda was the motivation for the grant or funding. So everything is not what it seems for sure. My reply was more towards a select few who think its them against everyone. One in partcular who has even accused me of source link in a round about way since I helped him a couple times. He had a bad experience as people will, hell I have them but I never look for someone to blame you know. Some people have it in their head that they hold no personal responsibility to where I am someone who is entirely responsible for myself. I call it being a man but this individual thinks being a man means everyone else has to do everything for you and that if your life is not perfect someone must be to blame, hell thats life! Lol anyway, totally get you and while the issue of trust is raised some around here it is good to remind people every once in a while that this is not WalMart online!
halmburglar13Agreed. If everyone thought like that on the forum theird be noone to help people and a bunch of helpless juiceless shriveled sacks. A forum is a community where EVERYONE should be helping EVERYONE(experience permiting) noones perfect and theirs much we can learn from eachother no matter who it is. STAY EROWDY EVERYONE
