Vitamin D deficiency
What's up bros. Just wanted to get some opinions/ advice on my blood test results I got today. First off, I'm a TRT guy and have my blood checked pretty regularly. I had not pinned for two weeks prior to the lab work, so I expected to see my test level to be pretty low (315L ng/ml. Normal range for my age bracket is 348-1197). What I did not expect to see was a pretty hefty vitamin D deficiency. My levels were 19.8L ng/ml, normal range being 30-100. This has never been an issue with any of my previous lab work, and in fact was three times my current level only 90 days ago. My question is have any of you encountered such a thing and could offer a plausible cause? My current vitamin regime gives me approximately 350% of my required daily amount of vitamin D, plus I spend a great deal of time outside. The doctor says they are going to start me on a program of 50,000 units 3 times a week for 3 months to try to get my liver stores back up. She had no theory as to why this may have occurred, but I can't help but think the gear may have an association here. My most recent blast consisted of 100mg test prop ed, 75mg tren ace ed, and 75mg mast prop ed. Thanks for your input brothers.

Did you ever get this sorted out bud or find the reason as to why it was? All I can think of is the Tren may of obliterated your stores in your Liver with its toxic nature. It does weird shit that stuff, it was after blasting it for a long time with no rest that I coincidentally came down with B12 deficiency anaemia. In other words all my stores of it in the Liver were gone and my haemoglobin in my blood became incredibly low because of it. They put me on 3 monthly injections of B12 for the rest of my life as they say I cannot absorb it orally - BUT get this since I stopped using tren quite a while back now and even when I did it was only a shot here and there, my haemoglobin is now spot on just from taking a good vitamin tablet regime now. Makes you think!
Unfortunately not, I take 4000iu a day, it's chronically low. I try not to look too closely at tren these days
15mins of sunshine a day creates naturally all the vit D you need.
Yeah I get plenty of sunshine and I'm taking plenty in from supps. Apparently I'm not processing it for some reason.
I'm not sure what causes it but I would say supplemenyt it for sureet bloods done again soon to see if it helps. They have so many different vit D sups out there.
Yeah she's gonna put me on a prescribed vitamin d supp along with an OTC. I get labs ran again in 90 days. Just the not knowing part that is aggravating. How do I know what to stop doing if I can't pinpoint a cause. Supps it is for sure though.
Anona lot of things can interfer with absorption. outside of that, sun light plays a role in vit D synthesis. how you doing with the sun light?
Really well as long as its not too overcast. I spend very little time in doors during the day.
Anonwhat about coffee and/or tea intakes lately? they contain what's called tannins, which interfer with absorption of several micronutrients.
Damn! Any way to combat this without cutting coffee out all together?
Anonyes. avoid tannins within 1-2 hours of eating a meal. taking into consideration the overall diet of the average person, this absorption restriction would hinder to such a small extent in comparison to the rest of the micros consumed throughout the day. where it really becomes a problem is in ppl who are malnurished, have an underlying disorder or physical condition, or drink EXCESSIVE amounts of coffee or tea.
Thanks brother! Noted! I was not aware of this. Coffee also increases free radical cells correct? the little muscle suicide bomber cells?
Anoni'm not sure, actually.. you're teaching me something there. vit C thwarts those lil bastards tho.
Vitamin c has also been show to increase uptake efficiency in oral compounds. Thats why I swear by emergen C. Wish I remembered the link for that, but it was a great read. Guess you'll have to trust me, or ignore me I suppose.
Anonyea i've heard that too
I've read that as well. I think it's pretty minimal and you have to be a heavy drinker for it to be noticeable.
Never touch the stuff and I actually use a product called zija that is very beneficial for vitamin and mineral uptake. What ever it is, it's happened since my last lab work about three months ago. I appreciate your sloothing by the way.
Anonvitamin deficiencies are hard to pinpoint.. not a good thing, especially when vit D aides in calcium uptake.
Well I guess I'm just gonna die lol. They're gonna monitor it closely. That's all I can ask I suppose. I just hate not knowing.
