The Worst Pin I've Ever Had

ad

So I just got back from a camping trip. Great scenery for the story right? Anyways, I started my 4th cycle 4 weeks ago, and as of right now I have EOD injections. When my buddy asked me if I wanted to go camping, I didn't consider that I'd have to pin during the trip. Anyway, I bring the vial of test prop along, and my needles, swabs etc. Now here's the thing, not a living soul that knows me in person knows that I use AAS, and the guy I'm camping with is no exception.

I'm not the type of guy that uses tents or cabins. For me camping is using a tarp and sleeping out in the open, so no private environment. Basically I have no alone time until this guy falls asleep. By this time I'm tired as can be, having to hump a 30lb pack 10 miles. Around 12 at night, I get up, draw out the prop, recap and walk about 100 ft from camp with a flashlight in one hand and syringe in the other. Find a tree to lean against, drop my pants, swab and pin. Didn't aspirate, sort of the last thing on my mind. The flashlight is in my mouth, and animals are making sounds scaring the crap out of me. Bear in mind (pun) that I'm in bear country. Anyways I finish up, put the trash in a bag and head back to my "tent". Fast forward to the next morning and I can hardly walk. I've used this prop before without noticeable pip so I think I struck a nerve in my ass or something. Pack up camp, and yay! Now I get to walk 5 miles with a 30lb pack and a limp. Anyways I get through it, and pin again on Sunday night no problem. It's Monday and no pip so all is good once again.

One miserable weekend.

So what are you're worst pin stories? Interested to see!

Nothing cool about my story, but did my first pin in years on the 4th. I thought "what a great day to kick off a cycle!"
Three days later and the pip is so bad that I'm limping. My quad feels like someone punched me. This is test e 250, and there is no way I can fathom shot #2. Guessing it is the oil type. I'm going to have to scramble for a plan B, or stop.

EO allergy perhaps? Too much BA%?

Ask your source what he uses.

Drop-set's picture

It has to be the EO. It feels exactly like when I've been stung by a yellow jacket in the past. Today the pip is better when walking, just sore to the touch.

6cc's of blood and puss.
Wow.. Just wow.

Ever pin that spot again?

quite a few years back i was pinning my quad, 3 mls i believe, was in the back room, sitting on the end of the bed, i always used that room, i would always take my time, put some music on etc etc, this time i shut the door but it did not latch, i have the pin in and slowly pushing the plunger when my 64 kg mastiffx comes belting through the door and jumps straight at me lol, it didnt snap the pin, but it bent it almost in half in the quad, lol walked around limping for a week, had a cricket ball sized lump also.

That.. Definetly beats my story. Talk about horrible timing eh?

Did you manage to finish pinning?

prop hurts like hell bro, just rotate sites!

Justanotherguy's picture

Definetly bro, currently have 6 spots in rotation. If I get the ventroglutes that'll make 8

The only thing that comes to mind is when my wife was having her family over for dinner (parents, 2 brothers, one sister - isn't it always amazing how your spouse's family always lives in town and yours is all over the country! Anyways, no biggie, I just had to pin and for some stupid reason I decided to use the powder room off the front hall - the bathroom that guests would use, of course. Remove the pin - stinking worst gusher I've ever had - bathroom looks like the aftermath of the Texas chainsaw massacres. I don't want to open up the old debate from a couple of days ago but my wife knows I use steroids, she doesn't pin me and I don't pin in front of her so she has never actually seen me inject. So she's screaming from the kitchen for me to come help her while I'm locked in the bathroom wiping all the blood off the walls and floor with our good towels - luckily I was able to get to the linen closet to replace the towels and got the blood soaked ones into a garbage bag - I was pouring hydrogen peroxide everywhere - blood in the grout - we have a housekeeper and I cleaned up enough for her to finish the job without screaming in fear with all the blood and made my way to the kitchen to help out just before my wife came looking for me. My hands were still shaking as I was mixing the cocktails.

That is one hell of a story. Did your geusts ever say anything?

When I redid my bathroom I used this red/brown colour grout. White grout is just too hard to maintain.

Dickkhead's picture

No one suspected anything. I got away with it. Lesson learned - never assume anything - shit can happen when you least expect it. Like the grout color idea a lot. A good blood soaking would blend right in. LOL Also, I now do the "bubble lock" method that I recently learned on here. Nothing dribbles out at all anymore - it's like totally sealed. Plus I also finally started pinning the ventroglutes instead of dorsal. Best spot ever - all dense muscle, no nerves, no veins or arteries. Awesome.

The ventroglutes are the unicorn of injection sites for me. Can't seem to find it, only some weird bone like tissue.

The grout is a real timesaver. No tile scrubbing! I love this site. So much to learn. Never heard of the bubble lock untill I looked it up after your post.

Here's a great video on ventroglutes -

Well that made it significantly easier! I've never found that video before, I'm gonna use that for my next pin.

Lmfao. My worst is the gauge slipped from my hand when someone walked in on me. The gauge was dangling and it was axio sust. I had a lump that looked like a softball for about a month, probably had an infection but I took antibiotics

Ouch. Sounds like an abcsess, luckily it went away.
