As one might guess form the username, I have been an analytical chemist for ~15 years and am employed (leadership level) with a bioanalytical lab. One of the relevant (to the forum) areas I work is animal metabolism studies. What we do, in two words, is identification and quantification of small molecules in tissues. The instrumentation/techniques we use include GC-MS and LC-MS.

I could offer some services to those interested including:

1. Small molecules (e.g., steroids). Formulation/composition verification and purity determination by GC-MS or LC/MS

2. Small molecules (e.g., steroids). Trace analysis of let's say compounds of concern in blood/urine/hair with limit of detection (i.e. sensitivity) lower than safe to say all mainstream clinical/forensic/sports test labs. This would be done by GC-MS/MS or LC-MS/MS

3. Peptides. Formulation composition verification and purity determination by LC-MS. Proteins will be expensive

Trace (in blood) analysis of peptides and proteins, it is not something I can do today. They are analysed by immunoassay. One has to acquire reagents.

Cost. $60-$80 for items 1-3, TBD for other.

Is it scam? Well, the deliverable is ... information, 100% intangible. One cannot "determine" quality of information other than testing article hem/herself and/or having someone else test it hence plunging into circulus in probando. Anything can be falsified. I am a chemist, not a fraudster all I can say. If you have ideas, let me know!
