Surgery Is Going To Prevent Working Out

ad

Hi Eroidian Bros. I have two surgical procedures taking place at the end of next week. The surgery is not being performed on any joints, muscles, etc, however, I am told that I will not be able to work out for at least three-weeks due to pain and the harm that could be caused. And, in two days I go on a liquid diet for four days - No protein powder, no fruit, nothing. I am told that broth (sp?) is the heaviest thing I can consume. I am 49 years of age, 185 lbs, lean and very vascular. I do not want to loose years of work here. I am presently cycling 500 mg's of Test Cyp, 400 mg's of Masteron and HGH - 3 IU daily and I am HRT - never off cycle, I change it up.

I am not sure what to do to help maintain my gains in the meantime. Up the Test and GH? A week from today I will be able to pound anything put in a blender. Thank you for your help. I searched this topic before posting this request for advise. I will be back at my computer tomorrow.

Much appreciated,

So it's intestinal? You're gonna lose weight but the key is staying strong. I'd buy some protein liquid shots. Drink those throughout the day.

I think you will be ok with keeping your current test dose. Think about it like it's a temporary body shock diet that will induce new gains! hehe

I don't mean to come across as insensitive, but I think your concerns are overblown here. 3 weeks off is nothing. A few days of reduced calories isn't a big deal in the whole scheme of things. I couldn't lift for 4 weeks last spring because of a torn brachioradialis muscle. It wasn't even a blip in the radar. I'd just look at this time off as a nice chance to let your body rest and recuperate. Once you resume your regimen of the last couple of years, you'll more than likely find yourself at or beyond where you're currently sitting in no time.

i would accept the fact that you will lose some of your gains. muscle memory is a real thing. i had a surgery awhile back and couldnt lift for a few months i just accepted it and as soon as i was able. i slowly started to get back to lifting and after about 2 or 3 months back in the gym with much lighter weights than before i had all my size back! i wouldnt even mess with your dosages. i was able to bounce back natty. Best of luck man:)

Alright Eric, I'll accept that fact. Great job on the rehab and thank you.

Hope all goes well with surgery bro! Prayers!
The problem here is the liquid diet and the fact you can't train for three week's. .

Thanks Juice! Appreciate your prayers also. Dealing with issues as one gets older is not for the weak in spirit or body. I'm stronger now than when I was in my 20's and a great deal smarter - I suppose now I have so pay some price for not being on top of my health when I was younger. It's a real flippin ripoff it seems. This is a memo you younger cats should grab hold of now.

In any event, I'm going out with my boots on when ever that is. Say - FYI, my wife went out shopping for me today and came home with Pacific brand, organic Bone Broth (chicken). It has 9 grams of protein for every eight ounces consumed. Now I have 36 grams of protein in me so I am going to let that settle in and then drink this crap the Dr prescribed me that will flush my system out. I'll keep drinking this broth since it seems like the only thing decent on the list that I can have with the exception of water. The protein content should help.

Good find with the wifey!
Just do what you can when you can lift and the rest will be muscle memory! I'm sure once your 100% you will go beast mode!
