Strange resistance when injecting- scar tissure?

ad

so yesterday I attempted to pin my usual amount of prop into my left delt.
I pierced the skin and it went in smoothly for about a 1/4 of an inch then stopped. I pushed a little bit more and it felt like i was breaking the skin again, no pain just resistance.

Then today i went to pin my right delt, and same thing, 1/4 inch and then stopped. Only this time i had to push an unusual amount, as in i could see the needle start to flex. Again it went through with no pain but the amount of force needed seems wrong.

I was using a 25gage 1.5inch sharp. and no other sites has this going on, legs, ass, tri's.
Is it possible that I'm just going throu the dermis layer and for some reason the muscle tissue is scarred and stopping the needle? Any ideas?

Sometimes I notice that just after pinning the oil comes oozing out a little, I've been using 23g 1" always in delts...I do aspirate a little bit...I'm pinning EOD...can anyone help me with this? Am I not doing something correctly? should I alternate to thighs? Sorry but I am a newbie running 2nd cycle...Thanks

I have and still experience this often, as said previously site rotation is key i feel. I have added lats to my list of sites and i find that to be the most comfortable spot so far me.

This happens to me ALL THE TIME even with site rotation. From running mostly short ester cycles the last 8 years, iv'e become a lump of scar tissue. Just as you describe. Goes in about 1/4 ml then stops dead. What I do is ever so SLIGHTLY pill the pin out. SLIGHTLY, like 1/8 of an inch. Then continue. This leaves me with a lump but helps get the oil in. Start investigating new injection sites. I actually used to use a 25g in the delts (I now use a 27g) and tried just forcing it through with more pressure. BIG MISTAKE. It gushed out into the muscle like water on one occassion causing a painful spasm and another time the pin totally blew off the syringe (unscrewed itself) from the pressure. Oil everywhere. I was not happy. This happens in both delts. Never in the glute..

Thanks guys, and grrrl.
Yes I do have a bunch of other sites and rotate every time, which is why I was surprised my delts have issues and no other sites do.
But agreed that the delts are a no go now.
At least its only 2 wks till the end of the cycle.

scar tissue .. its hard to get the pin into and difficult to inject should the scar tissue be that deep as well

Same thing happened to me i thought it was from scare tissue also? would love to hear the vets comments on this!

Sounds like scar tissue, might want to give those delts a rest.
