+ 11 Spoonfeeding the noobies
I've noticed the trend lately of just blasting out cycles and PCT's to members (sometimes without them even asking) and I have to ask myself is eroids still a place of learning?
We used to just guide members in the direction they needed to go and allow them the dignity of learning for themselves. Not only in what they are doing but why. Giving them the hunger to learn and to gage them on whether they had even an inkling of the tools of patience and perserverence that will serve them in the long run.
Are we becoming a cycle "chop shop" just doling out info as fast as our fingers can go so we can move onto the next one?
Are we becoming ego driven to show the board how much "we know" with our self centered eye on that next karma point? (Good point Vike)
Are we battling with the egos of others with little to no regard to whom we are doling out info too?
Now I know this doesnt pertain to everyone and alot of us stay behind the scenes but it is difficult NOT to see thit this IS what the culture of this board is evolving into.

You are assuming that these ppl are responsible... by reading alot of these posts its obvious that many have no idea what they are doing. It has been a long standing policy on eroids that SAFETY IS FIRST so how can ppl who have no idea of what they are doing be responsible? it is OUR responsibility to do OUR due diligence guide them to use use responsibly and not just parrot info so they run a cycle STILL while not knowing what they are doing.
So if someone posts something like: this is my first cycle and I was thinking of 100mg adrol, 600mg test and 600mg tren e along with some clen then dude obviously has no idea what he is doing, you dont just set him up with another cycle that YOU think would be better. You get his ass into research mode so he understands why that would not be a good idea and WHY another cycle would be better suited

That's first thing I do bro, and to be quite honest most of the knuckle head questions come from someone that don't fill out their stats. Then you have the guys that ask for advice just to chat it up with the quick answers mob. Then there's the guy who asks for advice with no intentions of listening to sound advice.
Its kinda the cost of working the forums. The guys just dropping info so the OP hears what he wanted to hear is what this post is about. It can be frustrating but gets worse when the newer helper blast out the info regardless. Most folks spending two to three hours researching forums could easily have a clear view of how to get set and going safely. Then the post should be simple cleanup

yes we are ego driven... sadly. these copy paste cycles are posted because it is more likely to get them karma then directing a noob to the right place to find out them-self. it makes me feel like such a hoar(for karma) if i gloat my knowledge or make posts like that.
I like this! I personally am interested in more than just the whole how to take aas. The fact that there are real people who care shows allot on this sight. Lots of people on here are inpatient, and even though I'm new can understand that I need to know every aspect of how this shit effects our bodies. I can't believe the shit that people get for a first cycle. Ignorance can literally kill you with some of this stuff. I was reading a post where a guy had slin in his cycle and ignored the warnings, dumbnow hes gone. You have to learn more than just the a in abc's. How can you do a cycle before you even know what aas stands for!? Even if I dont start my cycle for a year. I'm going to know every single aspect of what I am doing first. I have posted a cycle and asked how it looked and have asked dumb question, but the response I most respect is "do more research" you need to put in work and time in the gym and put all this effort into making your body look nice on the outside with no regard to what happens inside. Crazy!!

Just two months ago all the vets agreed...no stats etc then no help. I started laying back to see if stats get posted and OP answering questions......cycles and all damn info laid out. I keep posting in bold too, to try n get the newbs on track. Only option now is straight verbal blast. Go back to being an asshole i guess. Can't ding karma on pre-posters. Being uber sensitive and PC/NICE to the OP results it them not listening. Its like you gotta wipe everyones ass including the newer helpers. You give and inch and your fist deep up your anus. So....its bark n get banned or keep punching the screen when the new helpers tongue the asshole of every OP.

Politically correct. PC is where folks dont say whats real so they dont hurt the feeling of folks. So if a posted cycle plan shows absolutely no research at all....you aren't supposed to say it sucks ass. Go research. Thats just not me. I grew up with the crowd that you'd better talk straight. Don't beat round the bush. To me, its a disservice to the OP to kindly talk around reality. If you error in this game you get boobs, rage, abscess' etc. You cant shortcut those facts. I have only been here six months, but I know what you are talking about...I think it is ego-induced karma hunting as Vike said. For the longest time when I was first on here I just used the search bar at the top and looked for the info. I was yearning to learn...and I still do occasionally, but for right now with the time I have to be on here and with all the EXTRA things I have learned since being here, I am comfortable forging ahead with my cycle usage for at least a year...good enough for now!! When the "free"time comes that I need to learn some more, well, I do. And if there are any discrepancies in my current education of roid knowledge I am concerned about...well, I ask a few vets that know their shit better than me. Lately, I try to stay behind the scened unless there is a dire need for me to jump in and post some helpful info...most of the time I cruise around the 'training/nutrition/diet' forum...it's what I know the best, so that's where I stay in my comfort zone
There is way too much of that going on. I'm old fashioned and like handling serious busines in private. It's where real details get personalized for you anyway. When a guy PM's you questions It shows the guy giving the advice that a dude is serious about all of it. When guys just throw up a cycle and the next guy does and the next it becomes less and less personalized. U need to work over every detail meticulously. That can't happen in an open forum.

It's very irritating to see people ask for info without doing any research. I feel y'all. All people have to do is type what they wanna know in. The search bar, and a shit ton of things will pop up. People are lazy and take y'all for granit.
Maybe us MODS should start dropping a few -3s about when we see this happening... just a thought to get us back on track!
