+ 1 Reverse Anorexia??!
During one of my classes we were discussing different eating patterns an illnesses. Then we came across one that I found to be very interesting, Reverse Anorexia. What is reverse anorexia you may ask?? It is exactly what it sounds like, the desire to gain lean muscle and look larger, more vascular, and extremely fit. This disease tends to occur mostly in men, surprise, because no matter how big a male looks, when he looks in the mirror or at others in the gym he feels as if he is still small and needs to change no matter how big he really is. This then may cause him to use steroids, form unhealthy eating habits, along with unhealthy lifting habits. Now I'm not saying I totally agree with this, but I myself feel as if I do this from time to time especially when off gear and lifting naturally. I know I have made great changes and gains, but I always look in the mirror and feel small, along with numbers on the scale, or at other larger guys at the gym. Has anyone else felt this way? Or had any of these symptoms? Just thought it was a cool topic and maybe someone had some more insight on it compared to what we learned!

wtf everything is a disease or some terrible affliction these days. Give it a name.
xub3rn00dlexStreet name : Bigorexia.
tread-mAccording to recent studies this only effects 100% of the male population! Lol
Its real name however is "muscle dysmorphia"
x 2 muscle dysmorphia!!! i watched a documentary on this last week, and was discussing this in the gym with some lads last night!! crazy!!
Lol I totally agree with that percentage! And yes it is, or Adonis complex is another name. Just thought I'd share it, found it pretty interesting and I figured most of us here auffer from it no matter how many compliments we get or how big we are!
I have this. I think it is technically called Adonis Syndrome. It fucks with my head but I'm always getting bigger, so one day I'm sure I'll be happy with my size.
BigBmajFeel that way all the time. No matter how many people tell me I'm looking great, I always feel small. I lack the ability to properly see myself. Watching BB videos and reading mags makes it much worse so I stopped that.
