Anyone had success using this while on cycle to curb acne? Haven't been able to get rid of the red bumps and moderate acne that I got assuring and after my last pct. been tanning, using a bar soap designed for acne and 90% isopore (sp) and all I'm getting is really dry skin.

Then you won't like retin a. Like most acne meds it makes your acne worse in the beginning. When I used it even the tiniest bit would chap my face. It makes the acne or zits more red then after two weeks you start to see improvement. It's just getting through those two weeks. I tossed that crap. I use panoxyl creamy wash. You can get it at wal-mart(it may be behind the pharmacy just ask for it because it doesn't require a script) I also so use equate spot treatment. This helps tremendously with the redness and helps heal them faster. I also take Epsom salt bathes 3 times a week no longer than ten minutes. If you stay in longer than 10 minutes supposley you reabsorb the toxins. Epsom salt will also help relax and sooth your muscles.

It is effective for acne, but it is highly photosensitive. While using it, you need to stay out of the sun/tanning bed, and use spf-30+ for general exposure.
