Looked through sources and I have been doing what was suggested and not asking a whole bunch of questions. BUT, I bought some gear this weekend and wanted to know if anyone had ever heard of it. Where is it appropriate to ask this question? Don't want to stir up any shit!

does the source have a supplier intro page you could ask there..
I'd look around the source reviews here and find a source. I don't trust most sources on other boards because they are corrupt, I feel like eroids is the most unbiased, fair board on the web and I'm a member at a few. Eroids will always be home and always where I get my main gear
You could use the search bar to find that specific product
If it doesn't pop up in the search bar what does that generally say about the product? that it's bs or just not heard of?

You could always submit the source and open him up to legit review/scrutiny starting with you
