+ 1 PIP
ad
Granted I'm newer, not uneducated. I keep seeing posts regarding little to no PIP, this strikes me as odd. My cycles are from an UGL, however my TRT is Dr prescribed and from a pharmacy. The 100% legit cypionate sometimes gives me soreness. (I'm old school and go with what I was taught in college, always glute, always deep, always aspirate). Regardless, the pharmaceutical grade can and will give PIP at times, and oddly enough the stuff I get from my other provider feels the exact same. Whatever oil he uses seems to go in quicker though. Thoughts on this? It just seems weird to me that no PIP is a good thing...

I rarely get pip in my glutes, whatever I pin but always seem to get a mild pip in my delts and quads.
A lot of gear users have some tolerance to the pain, and as long as its not debilitating pain getting in the way of normal life will dismiss mild pip as nothing.
Alphamale500There are many variables to getting PIP from an injection. Granted, some of these variables can be directly associated with the oils, solvents or other contents within the gear. But some causes of PIP can be due to improper injection technique as well. Things like injecting in a bad location, maybe wiggling the needle around too much, injecting too fast, hitting a nerve, injecting into sub-q tissue instead of muscle, etc..
Regarding certain oils going in quicker, that can also have something to do with the solvents used and not necessarily the oil. Like EO and miglyol will make the solution thinner and therefore flow through the needle easier.
"It just seems weird to me that no PIP is a good thing..."
This statement of your has me scratching my head. Well of course no PIP is a good thing. This is a no-brainer! Would you rather be in pain after your injection? Of course not. And I gotta say, I really like what you said here,
"(I'm old school and go with what I was taught in college, always glute, always deep, always aspirate). I follow the same teachings, except sometimes using delts! +
Molinin302Very valid point you have there, again old school thinking and common sense should kick in. Someone made a post on the UGL I use about "floaters" in the gear, but the complaint was suspect as every pic of the tainted vials conviently left the "unopened" top tab out of the pics. I have labs done every 3 months and trust my source, never had the gear tested but my blood and body shows it's good to go lol. Shit, just ordered fresh syringes and needles from Amazon too. But yeah, 8 bucks vs an infection is an easy choice.
Molinin302Thanks bro. I'm new to this site and the information and advice I'm getting is incredible, there's quite a bit of knowledge that I respect here. Books cannot compare to real experience. I've thought about my delts just to give my flutes a break, but I've never self injected there. Im familiar with technique, but virgin to it. I'd really prefer to stay away from my thighs, there's just too many blood vessels. I'm currently using 1" needles 23g. (Draw with a separate 18g). Thanks again for the reply.
Alphamale500No problem bro. Yeah, this site is certainly a great place to learn and share experiences. This is definitely the best gear forum out there! One thing I'd like to add is about using an 18g pin to draw like you said. An 18g pin is totally unnecessary and even possibly dangerous to draw with, and for multiple reasons.
First, imo a 22g pin is really the thickest you need to draw your injections with, or even a 23g. I can't think of any oil that won't easily enough flow through a 22g pin. Even if you're drawing a thick oil, how fast do you really have to draw it? But it comes down to more than just preference.
When you stick that thick 18g pin through the stopper of your vial, it's very possible to break off a tiny piece or pieces, and have it fall into your gear. Just think of the tiny piece of stopper that fits into the hole in the 18g pin. Firstly, those pieces can bring bacteria into your vial with them. Or from those pieces sitting in your vial of gear with the various solvents that may be in it, they can slowly dissolve into your gear(Especially with seemingly more and more solvents being added to so many brands of gear all the time).
Have you ever heard someone say to always keep your vials standing upwards? That's because depending on the solvents in your gear, or the type of material your stopper is made of, some solvents can actually dissolve part of your stopper! Do you really wanna inject gear that can now contains liquefied rubber(or whatever material your stopper happens to be made of), into your body? What if you accidentally hit a vein while injecting that type of solution?
Also, when you keep on stabbing that stopper with a huge 18g pin, or even once or twice, you can make even just a slight hole or opening that can now allow bacteria to easily get in your vial and gear! And those repeated stabs into your stopper with that huge 18g pin are what can cause those tiny pieces to break off that I spoke of.
So, of course everyone makes their own decisions and in the end, you're gonna use what size pin you want to. But I'd really think about it if I were you, and decide if it's truly necessary to use an 18 gauge pin to draw with. Imo, they are just way too thick and can cause too many problems. What type of oils are you using that won't flow through a 22 gauge pin? Don't name the brand or src of course, but just the oil and solvents. Nowadays, with so many UGL's using EO and miglyol in their gear, gear seems to be getting thinner all the time. Alright, stay safe bro!
There will almost always be some amount of PIP. Between the oil the BA, the BB, it's unavoidable. However, when a UGL overdoses stuff harsh PIP can result!
My prescription sometimes gives me pip as well and it can happen one week and the next I get nothing. I don't let it worry me when someone says pip free unless they say it's always pip free. If pharma gives pip and ugl not, there you go.
When I think of it, I differentiate between pain from the needle itself and from the fluid going in, as compared to pain that is the result of irritation from the oil/compound/solvent.
If I say no pip, I mean that the oil/solvent/compound do not cause me any irritation/pain/discomfort over what could normally be caused by any injection.
PallMallIf you want it to hurt make sure you stab the needle in and out and wiggle it around a whole bunch. Gotta damage as much tissue as possible.
Is this even a serious post?
Are you asking why not having pain is a good thing?
Molinin302Nah man, maybe I worded my question wrong. In many of these product reviews I keep seeing no PIP, no PIP, as it's some sort of guarantee that the product is flawless. I just don't see that as the gospel, and frankly I think the opposite.
PallMallThat makes more sense. Blood work is the best thing to see attached to a review, otherwise it’s just an opinion.
Well, there are so many factors on this mather...like concentration (high concentration...high PIP), solvent (more BA and BB...more PIP), carrier oil, injection spot, needle length, ester length (shorter the ester-higher PIP), virgin muscle, nerves...
Some can be fixed as you can dilute with sterile oil or other gear like test enanthate.
You can use hot pads, this usually helps (but never ice pads)
And like you notice yourself pharma gear does not necessarily mean no PIP...For TRT I get NEBIDO from Bayer on prescription in EU pharmacy here and ALWAYS get PIP from it. OK, it is true that this is 4ml amp but I rarely get any PIP even when large volume injected like 6ml of total gear in one shot.
And in my experience, there is no better carrier oil like miqlyol 840. , not once I got PIP from any gear with that carrier oil.
I think a distinction should be made between “real” pip (serious discomfort to the point of discouraging injection/debilitating) and just the usual soreness caused by jabbing a needle through your skin and into your muscle tissue.
Of course that’s going to hurt slightly but if your idea of pip is a half to a whole cc of pharma test cyp then you’re very fortunate. It can get much, much worse. Try some high mg DHB. Sometimes you can’t even bend the muscle you injected into afterwords.
PcushionPIP is multi factorial. My thought is people obsess about PIP. It comes with the territory. Don’t get caught up on it man.
RustyhookerPip can be due to dozens of things. Pin size, scar tissue, rotation not right, too derp, nerves, allergies, antibodies, etc etc etc etc
So...whats the bigger question?
jayisk"So...whats the bigger question?"
Do you like long walks on the beach with a midget tranny? If so what is considered a long walk on the beach for a midget tranny?..,:}
Rustyhooker100 yards and my feet are killing me. Hahaha
Gotta add noHomo to that one.....blah
jayiskhaha...lmao
RustyhookerApparently the op has no questions. So guess the post was for what? Lol
Molinin302My questions related to the original post are above and thankfully being answered with great advice. At this point, the only query I have for you is not medically related but leans towards my proclivities... I'm on the east coast, near Philadelphia, I know where 2 midgets live, and they're within a 2 block radius, and granny's are around the locust St area, but no idea where midget trannys are?!? I mean, if I can find one that's Asian, that's 3 checks off of my bucket list right there. I'm a one stop shopper. Vietnamese midget tranny, guess I'm asking Santa for something special this year lol.
RustyhookerHajahaha!!! Here comes santa!
